Brett laughed at how their conversations were going.

E:Doggo, seriously?

B: LOL.. Umm, so how was your Christmas?

E:Oh, actually it was kinda only me so, yeah, a bit lonely i guess. How was yours?

B: I feel you bro. I'm stuck in this boarding hostel so, yeah pretty much the same as you.

E: Well thanks to your lantern, I've got you now. LMAO .

Brett wheezes at how the man was so sappy.

B: Dudeeeeee.. what?

E: Joke jokee.. Lol.. well, it's true tho. I got a question, if you don't mind

E: Why a lantern? And have you done this all the time?"

B:Ohh, is it childish?

E: No no, i actually thought it was pretty INTERESTING. I am so curious right now.

B: This is how mom and dad met.

Eddy was now so interested in this person, this was the first person he could probable chat with anxiety free for the first time in his whole life. It was rather relaxing to him and comforting.

B:Okay okay, calm down. Mom always love lanterns. She was an orphan but she was not really comfortable in that place and no one wants to be with her, she felt really lonely so, every new year, she would attach a note onto a lantern and set it off.

E: Ohh, that's nice. So, when did your dad found it?

B:Actually, mom failed like 6 times i think. And on the 7th try, dad found it and texted her.

E:To be honest, i was a bit sceptical when i found yours.

B: Hmm, why?

E: Dudeee, i don't know whether if you're a normal person or not.

Brett laughed out loud, reminded of his dad's words.

B: Dude, my dad said that too, but he said that he had a feeling that he should text.

Eddy then read that text twice, thrice; this was exactly how he felt back then.

E:oh,, that is like so cool. They were meant to be huh?

B:Yes, right. So, guessing you live around here?

E:Yepp, who knows. We can walk right past each other.
