It is 2 am and I've randomly decided to update this.

Shrek POV:
*Yawn*
My eyes slowly open and the morning sun beams right into my eyes
The frogs are croaking. My mud wonderland is bubbling waiting for it's lord to slide right on in and take a scrumptious mud bath. Another morning and another day ahead of Mr shrexy poo. A new day to conquer.
I hop out of bed reaching my crusty arms out into the air stretching. Gazing out into my kitchen "what should I have for breakfast?" I mumble to myself as I try and decide what's on my morning menu.
I decide to have slug and cricket cereal
My favourite!
I slurp it all up and wipe the food off my dry, chapped lips
Then I waltz out the door into the great unknown.
Narrator POV:
As shrek walks out of his humble abode
He notices a swarm of angry villagers
"What are you doing in mah swamp?" Shrexy yells
The villagers had no intention in replying
Instead they throw pitch forks and yells at shrek
Of course they miss each shot and he roars at them leaving them all to run for their lives.
But one villager quickly threw their fire at shrek and didn't miss!
"OW" shrek screams as he falls onto his knees holding onto his arm.
The villager laughs and runs off
But they weren't quick enough and shrek managed to gather all his strength and they threw a large rock at the villager
Leaving them unconscious by a lake
"Ah are you alright?" Said an unfamiliar voice
"Whos there?" Shrek yelled
A petite, mysterious figure peeks from behind the tree locking eye contact with shrek.
"Who are you?" Shrek calls out
... The forest has fallen silent
The mysterious figure stares giving shrek no reply
Confusion and curiosity fills shrek as he wants to know who this is
But the pain is to overwhelming so shrek lies down gripping onto his arm hoping the pressure will relieve the burning pain.
In a way shrek likes the pain as it gives him a rush of adrenaline
But it also can leave him vulnerable which he doesn't like
Shrek puts a front on all the time putting on a persona as a big strong ogre
But he's actually rather frail and just needs a hug.
He doesn't show but Fiona leaving him for farquad has truly broken his heart
Normally shrek would easily take care of a swarm of villagers but today he was off.
He thinks about all his pain he's gone through
As his grip increases
Until he eventually passes out.

Time skip :
3 hours later
"Is he awake.?" Questions a quiet voice
"No not yet -" Replies with a stern voice
"Patience" Says another voice
