The sky was a bland grey, and Salem was wishing it would be distracting enough keep her mind off Zayn. His heavy footsteps making loud splashing noises against the pavement were constantly breaking her focus. Sky. That's all she wanted. Though her thoughts had other plans, and drifted to warm honey eyes and and a bright smile.

"Let's cut through the woods, yeah?" She whispered, but spoke louder when he straightened his posture; what she assumed means he's paying attention. "It's faster, We have no gate surrounding our house. We can get in through the back door."

"That's not a good idea."

"Why not," The wind picked up pace, Halloween decorations groaned and shook, and the light rain started to come down harder. "Look it's raining, the trees will give us some cover."

"Fine," He turned abruptly into the dense wood, walking quickly. "Hurry up though, wouldn't want the horseman to get you?" He laughed.

The fog became dense and was starting to raise. Zayn was too far ahead to call for, and the fog was making it hard to remember the direction he went. She kept walking, and the woods became more dense. He did'nt go in one direction. "Zayn?" The large trees were blocking out the sun, and salem could barely see infront of her. Though she felt like someone was watching her, and the feeling did'nt feel friendly. She felt like she was being hunted. "Zayn, is that you?"

Low growling was heard from all directions around her. But a streek of black came quick, and for a moment everything around her stopped; the rain stopped, the wind slowed, and the moons light was blurred. That moment didn't last forever when what ever it was dropped her on the ground behind her house.

"Damn, you're light!"

The voice was firmilar and instantly calmed her down. "Zayn?" He sat down next to her,

"Yeah?"

"What the fuck was that?" She wezzed in a attempt to slow her breathing. "You ran off, then fog rolled in- that growling! And-and-and you ran back here with- how the hell did you do that?"

"I'm on the track team?"

"Somehow, I doubt that." She laughed. "What were those things?" A ear piercing scream came from the house followed by banging and crashes. "That sounds like Harry."
