BWAPPPPPP! BWAPPPPPP! BWAPPPPPP!

The alarms in the base were screeching as Ket and Sukato ran up the stairs, a soft red light illuminating the dark stairwell. They had been caught snooping around in the basement, and were now desperate to escape! They knew they were approaching a difficult battle; the two rouges were going to be outgunned, outmanned, outnumbered, AND out planned... But they had to try!

"Get ready!" Ket warned as the two approached the first level, sparks flying off of him from all the running. Five Marines were waiting at the top of the stairs, pointing their rifles at the approaching targets. All at once, they fired, sending out a row of bullets at the duo. But right before they did so, Ket put his arm across his body and slung it around.

"Gen-Gen: WIRE!"

As he called out his attack, a thick wave of electricity whipped out from his hand. The wave cut through the bullets, shattering them into pieces before hitting the Marines. They cried out in pain as the electricity ran through them before falling to the floor. Ket and Sukato ran past them as five more sword-wielding Marines ran in, blocking the hallway. Sukato looked at Ket expectantly. "Well? Zap them!" He ordered, causing Ket to look back at Sukato and groan.

"Give me a sec, I gotta generate more power!" Ket replied, starting to run in place to try and get more electricity running. As he did so, the Marines took action, charging at the two with raised swords.

"Gah, I'll handle this!" Sukato snarled, running at the group. One of the Marines swung at him, but Sukato ducked under the swing before delivering a series of punches to his gut. After building up enough power, Sukato finished off the Marine with a rising uppercut! The power of the uppercut sent the Marine flying upward, hitting the roof before falling back down. Sukato grabbed their leg as they fell and swung them around, whacking two of the Marines over with the body. The last two Marines both charged at Sukato, swords forward in an attempt to stab him. Seeing this, Sukato grabbed the other leg of the Marine he held before throwing them overhead at the last two! They collided before falling to the floor, leaving behind a small pile of bodies. Sukato groaned a little as his arms retracted to normal, feeling intense but manageable pain.

"Nice!" Ket smiled, running past Sukato. The two ran down the hallway, making their way to the exit. They had to get outta here! As they ran, Ket made some adjustments to his Navy uniform. He ripped the tie off, threw the cheesy overshirt behind him, and threw the hat away before pulling his classic cheesecutter cap from his back pocket and putting it on. "Much better!"

The two were approaching the front doors of the building, but before they could get to it, a loud SLAM rang out as an iron gate fell, blocking it off! "Damnit!" Sukato angrily snapped as a large group of Marines fell in behind them. "Now what?" He asked, trying to pull the gate open.

"Uh... Uh... The roof!" Ket suggested, holding his hands out to the Marines. "Gen-Gen: Bulwark!" He called out, causing a wall of electricity to emerge from his hands. A few Marines were unable to stop in time, running straight through the wall and getting electrified. Ket let go of the wall before darting down another hallway. "Come on!" He shouted, Sukato following suit. The wall blocked off the Marines, but it wouldn't last for long!

Luckily, the Marines Ket blocked off was the largest group, as Ket and Sukato made it to the second floor with little resistance! Any Marine who did stand in their way was either pummeled or electrocuted and before long, the two soon found themselves on the roof! The roof of the building was pretty barren, only decorated with a few cannons to fend off any incoming pirates and a railing to prevent any accidental falls. Sukato ran over to the railing and looked down... It was too high up to jump off of! "Great. Any other ideas, genius?" Sukato asked, turning over to Ket with an unimpressed look.

"Um... Well, we could..." Ket struggled, but any hope for an easy escape was crushed as Marines began to fall in from the stairwell. Before long, about fifty Marines stood on the roof, blocking Sukato and Ket from escaping! A Marine with a sword and one with a rifle stepped forward, the sword one running at Ket. Ket took a fighting stance (The same one he had when fighting in Seagully), and just before the Marine swung at him, lifted his leg up and around to deliver an axe kick on his shoulder! The Marine fell down on his knees, and Ket ran to the one with the rifle. Before the Marine could shoot, Ket swung his leg upward at his hand, knocking the rifle into the sky! He followed this up by turning his hips and extending his foot, kicking the Marine in the gut!

The rifle flew through the air as the Marine fell to the ground. Seeing this, Sukato jumped up and caught it. "Finally, a weapon..." He muttered, holding it by the barrel end as if it were a baseball bat. He's decent at hand-to-hand, but Sukato excels with weapons! Sukato took Ket's side, looking at the army of Marines with a glare. "Guess we have to fight..." He said, scanning the crowd to see who would attack first. But before anyone could make a move...

Click. Click. Click.

A loud clicking could be heard from the stairs that led down to the second floor.

Click. Click. Click.

The sounds grew louder as a large figure emerged from the staircase and onto the roof.

Click. Click. Click.

The Marines looked up at the newcomer with bated breath before standing at attention and giving a salute. "V-Vice Admiral! Thank God you're here!" One of them shouted, a mix of fear and hope in his voice.

The man didn't say a word, instead walking past the group of Marines until he could see Ket and Sukato. The man was tall and muscular, with curly black hair and a slightly aged face. He wore the standard Vice-Admiral cloak over a blue T-Shirt. The strangest part? His limbs. His right arm and left leg had been amputated, and massive gun barrels were in their place! He looked down at the two with a frown before speaking, his voice filled with grumpy malice.

"These are the guys you couldn't take down?" He chuckled, rubbing the gun barrel on his arm. "Pathetic."

Ket looked up at the man with a raised eyebrow. "So, you're the one behind all this, huh?" He asked, clenching his fists. This man was the one who was running the Mighty Marine project... The one who was making the people of Seagully suffer! This was the bane of Seagull Cove...

Vice-Admiral Buckshot!
