After wandering around for a bit, Ket found
himself at the entrance of Seagully, a small town on the mainland of Seagull Cove. As he walked the cobblestone streets, Ket began to notice just how... quiet it was. One would expect a little place like this to be bustling with kind hearted merchants and frolicking children... But there was nobody in sight! All the doors were locked tight, blinds closed to provide cover to those inside. It was as if the place was abandoned...

"HELLO?" Ket called out, feeling his stomach grumbling. "ANYONE GOT FOOD? I'M STARVING!" He shouted, frowning as he got no response. He was hoping to get some juicy rumors about Marine operations here, but how is he going to do that when everyone is hiding?! Ket was just about to give up when he heard some whispering coming out from a nearby alleyway. He stopped walking and looked over to it, and saw a group of people! He knew the dangers of approaching random people in an alleyway, but... Who else is he gonna talk to?

As Ket approached the group, he was able to get a better look. There were three people in total, all men around his age. Two of them were sitting on the floor, while another sat on a milk crate with a lit cigarette in his mouth. The man on the milk crate wore a red T-Shirt and torn Kakis. He had some peach fuzz as a beard and wore a pair of sunglasses that shielded his eyes. On the wall next to him was a silver baseball bat with the letters S.K in a bright gold font. He seemed dangerous, but that didn't stop Ket! "Hey guys! I was wondering..." He started, but before he could ask anything, the smoker interjected.

"Wait, wait... You a Marine, ain't ya?" He asked, standing up and grabbing his bat. At the mention of Marines, the other two quickly jumped up and pulled out small silver pocketknives . "Me and my boys don't really like y'all..."

At this accusation, Ket took a step back and mshook his head. "Wuh-? Oh, no no! I'm not a Marine!" He tried to explain, before realizing that he was wearing a Marine uniform. "Well, I mean, not anymo-" Ket attempted to clear the air, but was cut off by a laughter from the Leader.

"Heh! Alright, I've heard enough. Boys, lets show him what the Kombo boys think of Marines!" He snarled, pointing his bat at Ket with a smirk. The two underlings began to charge at Ket, knives raised. Ket panicked for a moment, not wanting to make a scene and draw attention... But he has no choice!

At the two approached, Ket moved one leg back to take a defensive stance. The man on the right lept forward, knife raised in the air. Ket waited for a moment, until the thug was in perfect range... And then attacked! He twisted his hips around, lifted a leg, and delivered a DEVASTATING roundhouse kick to the ribs! The man cried out in pain, being carried by the kick and SLAMMING into the wall of the alley! Seeing the defeat of his friend, the other thug took a lunge in to try and stab Ket. Using the momentum generated from the kick, Ket landed forward, twisted his torso to avoid the knife, and executed a backfist into the mans face! The attacker cried out in pain, stumbling and clutching his head.

The leader of the gang watched this happen, and quickly took action. "Why you little-!" He yelled, grabbing his bat before running towards the violence. Ket readied himself, raising his fists and breathing slowly. He could feel his heart pounding, and tiny ripples of yellow began to ripple off of his body. Suddenly, the Leader jumped high into the air before plummeting towards the earth, slamming his bat at Ket's head! Ket jumped backwards, narrowly doding the attack with a look of shock on his face. That was close! The bat hit the cobblestone ground with a resounding 'SMASH!', creating a small crater that was meant for Ket's face. This guy has some power!

The Leader raised his bat again and began to run at Ket, swinging his weapon wildly. Ket kept dodging backwards, each hit only inches away from making contact. "What's wrong? Afraid of a little toy?!" The Leader mocked, unaware that Ket was planning something. With each dodge that Ket pulled off, he was creating power... and now, he was ready to unleash it! Ket dodged back once more, pulling back his fist. He took a deep breath and called out the name of his attack.

"GEN-GEN: SOCKET!"

As he cried out, he flung his fist forwards. As the punch traveled, a bolt of golden electricity shot out. The Leader looked down at the bolt in horror, unable to do anything as it pierced right through his body! "A-AGH!" He cried, dropping his bat and falling to his knees. "W... What the hell..." He groaned, falling onto his back and gasping for air. Ket slowly dropped his guard, and smiled. He approached the gang Leader and squatted down on his knees.

"So... Uh, I just had a few questions about the Marines her-" Ket started, but before he could finish, loud footsteps pounded the pavement. Ket looked up, and saw a group of Marines! There were about five in total, each one fully dressed in uniform and holding a rifle.

"W-What happened?!" One of the Marines shouted, surveying the situation. "D-Did you do all of this?!" He asked, clearly confused. Three of the Marines walked to examine the bodies, helping the fallen foes up. Ket was hesitant to reply... They were Marines after all! But seeing as he had no choice, he began to explain.

"Well, these guys were attacking me... So I beat them up!" He smiled, suddenly realizing his outlandish uniform. "And they... totally vandalized my shirt here, see?" He asked, guesting to the giant red X on his shirt. He had painted it there himself a while ago... but the Marines didn't know that!

Hearing this news, the head Marine of the group perked up. "Oh wait, you must be one of the new recruits!" The Marine smiled, walking up and shaking Ket's hand. "Well I gotta say, you did an amazing job taking care of these guys! Here, lets get you back to the base and get you a new suit, eh?" He suggested, guesting to the other Marines. They pulled out handcuffs and rounded up the gang members, who all seemed a lot more... distressed. The two knife-wielders had looks of pure fear on their face, and the Leader looked down at the ground with a distasteful frown. Seeing this, Ket walked over to him and tilted his head.

"Hey, I never got your name..." He asked, feeling a little bad now that all the adrenaline had worn off. Did he go too far? Maybe he shouldn't of used his special power on him... In response to this, the Gang Leader glared up at Ket and smirked.

"Me? Call me Sukato. Sukato Kombo."

Ket gave a half-smile in response, quickly moving on to formulate a plan. These Marines thought he was one of them, so Ket will let them lead him to their base. He'll figure out what's going on there, and put a stop to it! ... Okay, it's not a good plan... but it's all he has! And with that, the Marines began to march. The streets of Seagully were still dead quiet, as if nothing had even happened...
