Two hours later, the six returned to the mansion. After a much-needed rest, they got to work setting up the Grand Hall for the upcoming assembly. A makeshift stage was created out of a long table and red cloth. All of the Unfair Maiden Pirates slowly filled the hall, packed like sardines. Some were forced to watch from outside, peeking through the broken windows in the freezing cold. The heroes sat behind the stage in comfy chairs, and once the room was full, Madam Bobble got up on the table. Immediately the Pirates went quiet, not daring to speak over the Madam.
"Men. You are all here to celebrate an outstanding victory, and a new future for our crew." She began, getting many odd looks. "First, I would like to thank the Freedom Fighters for assisting us. We couldn't have done it without them." She explains, receiving confused applause. "You are probably wondering what this 'victory' I'm referring to is... Behold!" She boldly announced, taking out the treasure and lifting it. "The Minion-Minion fruit!" The Madam reveals, a shocked murmur befalling the audience.
"A Devil Fruit?"
"How did they find one?!"
"What flavor?"
The Madam was pleased by the reaction and continued. "Yes. That's correct. I am already considered one of the strongest Pirates in the North Blue, but with the Minion-Minion Fruit, We shall journey beyond this pitiful ocean..." She alluded, looking back and giving a nod. Constable stood up and gave her a map. Madam Bobble rolled it out, a bewildered look on every Pirate's face as they saw what it was. "We shall venture to the Grand Line, and find the One Piece!" She pridefully proclaimed. The crowd was in an uproar!
"The Grand Line? Incredible!"
"The One Piece? Amazing!"
"Certain death? Great!"
The Pirates erupted in cheer, going wild over the prospect. Daring adventures, riches, glory... Getting through Reverse Mountain might be rough, but if they can manage that, they can do anything! Genu let a small "Ooohhh..." Escape his lips. That explains the map he found on the ship... Good for them! Everyone was upbeat, including Constable and the Freedom Fighters... Except for Belle.
"W-WHAT?!" She coughed, shooting up. The cheering immediately died, hundreds of eyes staring transfixed on Belle. Nobody dared to interrupt her, especially in front of the Madam! She felt intimidated by all the attention but stood her ground. "W... W-We can't do that! It's dangerous!" She protested. Thousands of Pirates have lost their lives on the Grand Line... She doesn't wanna die! "A-And what about the Island?" Belle added. All the people they protect just by b-being here... If they leave, what'll happen to them?!
The Madam was speechless for a brief moment but eventually patted her head. "Aww, Bellie..." She started, giving a reassuring smile. "You'll be perfectly safe. I'll be there! And besides, it'll be fun!" She cooed, turning back to the Pirates and ignoring the part about the Island. Belle was about to say something, but the Madam moved on before she could. "Now then... To the Grand Line!" She proclaimed, opening her mouth and taking a massive bite out of the fruit.
As she chewed up the mythical meal, a soured expression spread along her face before she finally swallowed. "My... That was... Unpleasant." She shuddered, placing the rest of the fruit on the table. The Madam looked down at her hands, everyone watching in anticipation. "Well... I don't feel any different..." She muttered, suddenly remembering what the book said. 'Summon an army with the snap of their fingers' Figuring it was worth a shot, the Madam put her index and middle fingers together and...
Snap.
Suddenly, a deep-purple light emitted from her hand. Everyone watched on, mystified by the glow. The light jumped out and landed on the floor, quickly expanding. It grew to Bobble's size, the light shaping itself into a humanoid form. Two blue eyes appeared, blankly staring up at its creator. It... It was a Minion! "Goodness..." The Madam marveled, flabbergasted by her new ability. She snapped again, and again, and again. Purple rays of light flew from her hand, landing all around the room and turning into more minions. "Yes... YES!" The Madam berserkly grinned, a powerful lust growing in her heart. The Pirates rallied gayfully, all amazed by the spectacle.
