The door closed behind them as Y/n set the black container down beside the sofa.
Y/n: it's just cause I'm mostly out all day.
Tali: it's understandable to not pick up parts scattered across the floor Y/n..we're constantly repairing our ships.
He opened his weapon case and set out all of it on the coffee table.
Y/n: sounds dangerous..but then again heading back home does too don't it...reminds me.
He breathed in and out..happy at the fresh air.
Y/n: i think you both'll be fine with the visor removal..let the UV rays actually hit you guys.
Opening shutters above the room it displays light from a recording on earth..the sun beaming down as Ultra violet rays were aiding in the simulation like screen.
Y/n: heh..now i miss home too.
Tali: so you're born on earth then?
Y/n: mmhm..won't believe what i did to get away from there too.
Keila: you..ran from home?
Y/n: had to..it wasn't really a place for a kid.
Keila: what about your family?
Y/n: the family that gave me up to science?..hopefully six feet in the ground or jettisoned from a ship.
He spoke as he modified his weapon in various ways..the barrel sliding forward and back..a balance between mid and long range fire.
Tali: given away for science?
Y/n: yea..once they realized blood donors were universal..they took the universal part extremely seriously...parents signed me onto something..i didn't wanna go..so they cuffed me and sent me on my way into the program..they didn't care what happened they got a fat check from it..once done i was hooked up to machines constantly..taking my blood..mixing it with others like many other kids...
The two sat down..tali looked at the machine..doing it's work as well as the UV rays..she hesitantly but reluctantly removed her visor and helmet.
Keila: what are you doing! You know our immune systems are-
Tali: going to get better..Y/n purchased the purifier box..and with actual sunlight it will benefit us..i don't mind taking antibiotics for it later if it doesn't work.
Keila: w-well..if you're alright with it.
She removed her helmet..and like Tali and her choice of color pattern..their hairs match their clothing...their faces closely resembling that of humanity.
Keila: wow..i feel relieved i can finally open my visor freely without being on the flotilla now.
Tali: please Y/n..continue.
She rubbed his shoulder.
Y/n: while they took my blood..they gave it back..turns out they spliced it..mixing it with other alien races.
Keila: and..who was it that took you from your family.
Y/n:...Cerberus...
He loaded his weapon with a thermal clip just thinking about them.
Tali: but..they're all about humanity being on top.
Y/n: they are, but they don't mind killing off a few of their own to get what they want...they found that my blood mixed well with a krogan..since both our DNA are somewhat similar..after they found that they drained my own blood..out of my body..then pumped me with the mixed one..the one including mine and a krogans..l nearly died seven times..taking out and replacing the blood over and over again..it was hell...the way they wanted results.
