Hey, welcome to Absence. Here's a couple quick things you should know before we get started.
Absence is under complete revision. I've developed a lot more as a writer, and honestly as a person since the time this book was originally published (incase you're wondering, I published it when I was 13, and i'm now 20... yeah, a lot has changed.) and and I felt as though the style or writing, plot holes, and straight up cringe was enough for me to rebrand this story. As sentimental as it was, as this was my first story to get a decent amount of reads, it was time for a refresh and a change.
If you're a reader coming back, I welcome you home with open arms, but just know things are not the same as they used to be. If you're just now joining me, I still welcome you with open arms, and hopefully you can grow to love the story as much as I do.
Because this revamp is in the same book as the original post, a lot of the comments probably don't make a lot of sense. Eventually i'll get around to cleaning up the comment section so things line up, but for now they'll stay chaotic.
I also want to clarify that I am not a frequent updater. Unfortunately I am a student before I am anything else, and I also work a part time job so updates come as often as I can make time to sit down and write, so if you don't have to patience to wait, i'm sorry, and hopefully i'll see you around when it's finished <3

I hope the rebrand can do Flint, Casper, and Pax some justice, but for now only time will tell.
