As I rose from the bed that morning, I was starting to realize how much I hated working and how much I didn't wanna go to said work.I let out a sigh, rubbing my eyes and getting up out of bed to get dressed and brush my teeth before I awoke my little munchkin. At least for the bakery day job I could dress in pretty much any way, which usually consisted of a t-shirt and some beat up converse... Maybe I'd actually like my job if I was decorating cakes and working in the kitchen, not manning the cash register.
I heard my phone buzz again for the 5th time this morning, causing me to mumble under my breath and flip the sheets upside down looking for the small black box.

😑I hate him...Not really... Sort of?
I don't know anymore... in all reality if he were to walk into my house right now I'd probably hug him, cry, and then slap him.
I heard Pax start crying and so I stuck my phone in my pocket and headed for his room.
"Dada!" He cried as I mad my appearance, his face blotchy and red while tears down his sweet face.
"Oh pumpkin." I sighed picking up my child who wasn't crying so hard anymore. He sat on my hip hugging my shirt and resting his head on my shoulder, sniffling softly. "What's wrong pumpkin did you have a bad dream?" I asked rubbing his back softly. He nodded. "I'm sorry." I coed still rubbing his back and cradling him until he stoped crying. "let's go get you some breakfast ok?" I said kissing his sweaty forehead.
"Otay." He said, his voice muffled by his binkey.
We made our way downstairs and I gave him his small sippe cup of orange juice, his favorite juice, before putting a waffle in the toaster. "You ready to see nan?" I smiled looking at the still red faced toddler.
"Nan!" He yelled kicking his little feet smiling.
Nan was my mom, his grandma, and she comes over and watches him for a couple hours while my younger sister is at school. Then I come home for lunch and then drop him off at the sitters the rest of the afternoon before going to the bar.
I don't usually work late shifts at the bar just because I hate leaving my boy at night, so I always try to get double shifts at the bakery on days I don't have to work at the bar so I don't have to double up at the bar. I hate that place more then the bakery.
