Aina pov

When I and Meliodas got back Meliodas told me to go clean up and that he would report to the father

I didn't argue I was sleepy I fell asleep mid-flight and woke up as we got home I just wanted to jump on my bed and sleep but I know Mother would get mad at me for not cleaning up first so I went to take a quick shower

Time skip after aina takes a shower

Aw (stretches her arms up) that was so refreshing

Aina Dries her hair and is about to take a nap when she hears a knock on her door

Oh Erin it's you what's up?

Erin:well I have the thing you were asking for

Aina: 😊 really! Really!

Erin:yes here it is

Erin gets a brown sack out that was being hidden under her apron aina jumps with joy and excitement and grabs the sack and dumps it out on her bed inside the sack were books about flowers and gardening and some seeds

Aina:yes this is all I wanted to thank you Erin I appreciate you getting this for me how much do I owe you

Erin:it's fine princess I always tell you the same thing I don't need money just please behave more often

Aina:right I...I'm sorry 😔 I didn't mean to get you into trouble last time

Erin:(sigh) I know princess

Aina:this time I'll try to do better I promise

Erin smiles and bows telling aina she has work to do and leaves

Aina begins looking at the things Erin got for her with excitement

Especially the book about flowers she loved flowers they were so pretty looking one time she saw a picture of a flower in a book it caught her eye right away she asked her mother about flowers and she didn't seem to understand what was so pretty about them and said they were kinda terrifying and ate people aina was scared but ...as it turns most plants in the underworld are carnivorous and some are very big and have very sharp teeth and have to be killed when they get that big

So when she asked Erin about the flowers in the book she told her that only those flowers grow on earth land and fixed the misunderstanding since then she's been wanting to see, touch and smell them so she figured if she can't go see them might as well grow them

This is why she also got a book on gardening hopeful it turns out better than when she tried cooking ...

😅 Let's just say that she cooked breakfast and left it out for the servants to eat and well....the short version is they all ended up throwing up and vomiting and cursing the monster that made it some even said it was probably a goddess who set them up and vowed to kill the goddess Breakfast

Anyway thinking about the flowers aina couldn't help but think about Rei and Hawk she had never met a half-demon nekomate it was interesting

But she knew her father would never approve of them especially Rei since she's a half breed as he calls them
She knew that most half-demons are shunned and treated horribly

But she felt a connection with her she wanted to see her again and feel that feeling of freedom again

Aina said she would see her again in 3 weeks but...how?

She was always being watched and hardly had any free time when she was little she did attempt to sneak out of the castle into the city but her father had a lot of guards around she was found and taken back to her father immediately and given a harsh scolding she still remembers how a boy lied and said he forced her to sneak out since she was crying about being scolded again she tried to defend him and tell the truth but the boy was beaten badly by the guards then he was thrown into jail she wanted to see him but she wasn't allowed to

In the end, she begged her mother to save him in tears as far as she knew her father let him out but she never saw him again even when she tried to run away to see him again

She's never forgotten that boy or his name

Aina looked up at the moons of the demon realm that began to appear in the sky

She started thinking about what she could do to improve herself

Aina laid back on her bed irritated about the things she felt she lacked there were many times that she wishes she was more like her brothers

But she wasn't like them or any other demon she ..a weirdo or freak as her brother Zeldris would say

Aina rolled around her bed to forget the bad thoughts of her family and especially Zeldris and tried to focus her mind she started thinking about training practice and how she hated using a

Aina hated fighting with a sword she doesn't like that she could feel it when she stick it into something or someone not to mention that she had to be close to someone when you stab them she still remembers how Meliodas made her stab a wabbit (demon rabbit)

She still remembers the feeling of hot blood on her body and the creature's scream of pain and the look on its face it made her sick thinking about it

I wish I could switch weapons but...

But.

Aina got up and realized that nothing was stopping her from using a different weapon maybe she could use something else to fight

Aina began to Brian Strom different weapons and it came down to a bow and arrows and magic

That way she could attack from far away and wouldn't be close to feel blood or see their faces as they died

Aina jumped up out of her bed to go see the blacksmith
