Chapter 12

Mini POV {couldn't find her original picture lol}

"Ten bucks says Cap and Leo are already dead," I said.

"Mini!" Libra said. 

"What? It seems very likely," I said, taking a seat and folding my arms across my chest. 

"Maybe Lucifer's different," Sagittarius said. "Maybe he won't kill them for speaking."

"He is slightly more levelheaded," Aquarius said. The more I looked at Aqua the prettier she got. I didn't even think that it was possible for someone to look that good. 

"Well then I say one of them is going to come back and need Virgo's medical assistance," I said.

"I think we're all expecting that," Aquarius said looking me in the eye. Oh, God. She's so pretty and amazing, don't blush don't blush don't blush. My cheeks heated up and Aquarius smirked at me.

"Please get a room," Scorpio said, obviously sensing some...tension. Aquarius's smirk disappeared, replaced by a look of annoyance. 

"You should shut it Lust," she growled. Scorpio said nothing.

"Did Scorpio Lust just hold his tongue?" Gem asked. He put his hand to Scorpio's forehead. "Who are you and what did you do with Scorpio." He gave Gem the death glare. 

"I'm just tired, I was really hoping to sleep in today."

"Then sleep," Ophiuchus said. "Nobody's stopping you." He stretched out on the couch and closed his eyes.

"I have trust issues," Scorpio said. I walked up to Aries and gave him a slightly awkward smile.

"How ya doing?" I asked. Aries's brow furrowed in confusion.

"About good as you can when you live in hell," he said. "Why?"

"Just trying to be friendly," I said.

"Friendly," Aries said the word with confusion, as he had never heard of such a thing. The word foreign and strange in his mouth. "Sounds suspicious." I gave him a confused face. 

"You do know what a friend is, right?" 

"I've heard of such a thing, not quite sure if I've had one though," he replied. Damn.

"What about your fellow sins?" I asked. "Aren't they your friends?" Aries tilted his head, considering how to answer my question.

"We are aquatints. Business partners with a thin foundation of mutual trust to not stab each other in the back," Aries replied. I stared at him. 

"Yeah...That's not a good thing Aries," I said. "You guys barely trust each other? Ugh, all 7 of you are going to sit down and talk later then." I had barely finished my sentence when Leo and Capricorn entered the room.

"So? How'd it go?" Virgo demanded immediately, inspecting his cousin and Leo for wounds. "You two are in one piece." A man entered the room. He looked like an angel and a devil mixed into one. This makes sense since Lucifer is technically a fallen angel. He had a sinfully pretty face that would make you mistake him for an angel. Instead of bat wings, he had huge, black, feathered wings.

"So either he's going to kill us all together or he might be kinda sorta on board with our half-made plan?" Pisces said, seeming to shrink into herself. 

"We shall see," Lucifer said, with an angelic voice. Pisces relaxed a bit and then stiffened. 

"What sorcery is this?" she demanded.
