Scorpio POV

{Song, Play with Fire nightcore version. I just felt like putting that song...}

I stood facing the ocean, my eyes narrowed and my thoughts wandering. The sand was soft between my feet, the breeze ruffled my hair and the sun was warm. Sighing I sat down and noticed a familiar blonde figure laughing with an unfamiliar blue figure. Leo had somehow managed to make friends and seemed to be having a blast.

Attachment isn't good, I thought. No, all you end up doing is causing each other pain. I thought back to the girl I thought I'd loved. Amber.

---Flash Back---

I stood with my girlfriend Amber, she seemed a little off today. Her honey eyes fliting around nervously, she toyed with her light brown hair and her golden skin looked a little pale.

"Are you alright?" I asked her. Amber gave me quick smile which then collapsed into a frown. I sighed inwardly, we used to be so good at communication. Now it seemed like we didn't talk to each other unless it was an emergency.

"Do you love me?" she asked, fidling with her hair. I turned her around to face me and I looked her directly in the eyes.

"Yes," I said. "I do love you, why would you think I didn't?" A smile graced her face and she stodd on her tippy toes to kiss me. We pulled away and Amber put her head on my shoulder. She sighed and gave me a sad smile. I didn't understand what was wrong, why was she sad?

"Thanks Scorpy," Amber said, using her nickname for me. Now usally I don't like anyone calllingn me anything other than Scorpio, but for her I'd make an acception. I took her han din mine and noticed that she was studying our intwined fingers, as if confused by it. She caught me looking and looked away from us, something was definetly wrong.

"Come on," I said, pulling her along with me. "Follow me." I tugged her to my house and through it's vast halls.

"Where are we going?" she laughed. I looked back and gave her a mischievous smile and stopped at huge doors that were made of curling metal, like vines. I put my hand on the twisting metal and the door swung open. Revealing my escape from the world.

The garden was a kalidescope of purple, pink and blue. Buds of multicoloured lights danced around the trees and other plants. The gates at the very back were a dirrect portal to where the treasurey and other secrets of the monarchy of hell lay.

"I had no idea this existed!" Amber exclaimed, looking extremely happy. "What is it?" She hugged my arm and bounced in excitement.

"It's pretty much just a garden," I said. Amber gave me a look that said that she didn't believe me.
