May's POV

I pushed a strand of my dark brown -almost black- hair behind my ear and sighed as I walked down the sidewalk.

Another day, another mission, another man's hands all over me.

That's the one thing I don't like about my job, I'm supposed to just allow men to violate me and pretend I don't care. I guess I didn't, in a sense. It's not like they ever saw me again after I complete my mission.

In my tornado of thoughts you could say I was distracted. Which is exactly why I ran into something- or rather someone.

"Are you alright?" A deep voice asked, making me shudder.

I opened my eyes to find myself in the arms of a young man with amazing chocolate brown hair and sea green eyes who was looking down at me.

"I'm alright, I guess I should watch where I'm going huh?" I chuckled awkwardly. He was silent for a moment before he grip tightened on me ever so slightly.

"Mate......"

I squirmed a little and freed myself, frowning.

"Sorry, but I don't know you. I have something important I need to get done. Thanks for catching me." As soon as I finished blurting my sentence I bolted. I'm not sure why I felt so drawn to him, I've never felt that about any of the men I've toyed with. Everything about him was begging me to pay attention and I hated it, it confused me.

No matter what, I can't tell the boss. He'll definitely get killed and as far as I know, he's innocent.

But no matter what I did, even when I was with other men, all I could think about was him. And that's when my performance dropped.

Noel's POV
It's been two weeks. Two weeks since I've seen my beautiful mate, her long almost black hair shone naturally in the sunlight as her gorgeous blue eyes sparkled with amusement. Just thinking about her was driving me insane, I couldn't stop though. That's the mate bond for you.

I want our mate! My wolf -Hunter- whined inside my head.
Sorry, I know nothing about her. We can't do anything until we find out who she is.

I heard him huff out a sigh before falling silent, leaving me in my own thoughts as I walked through the woods.

"Freeze."

I immediately tensed, glancing behind myself to find a young man around my age with brown hair and green eyes.

He smells like a wolfblood.......

"I need you to come with me."
"And why's that?"
"Because if you don't you'll be missing out on a great opportunity to find that girl from earlier."

I paused, obviously he was watching me.

"Alright, let's see this 'opportunity'."
The guy rolled his eyes with a soft smirk before leading me into the woods.

We walked for maybe ten minutes before we passed through another packs territory and I sniffed the air.

Bloodfangs...

The bloodfangs and my family don't really get along, it's something that just goes way back. But here I am, following the random person right to the alpha's hut.

"Terry! You're finally back!" A little girl with blonde hair and red tips galloped up from behind me and hugged onto 'Terry's' leg. She was probably 11 or 12, she didn't look to be too much younger than I was.

"Yeah I am," he ruffled her hair affectionately. "I need to talk to mom though so why don't you go find Cress?"
"Alright," the girl sighed. "But you owe me chocolate."

Terry chuckled and agreed before the girl bounded off and he led me inside where a woman with blonde hair and warm brown eyes was sitting in a chair at a desk, dealing with paperwork.

"Mom I found him." Terry said proudly.
The woman looked up and smiled, standing.

"Hi there, I'm alpha Isla of the Bloodfang pack, but you can just call me Isla. Terrance you have a mission with your sister I expect you to go find her and go over the report."

Ah, so Terry is a nickname. Makes sense.

"Alright alright I'm going, good luck." He saluted to me before trotting out and I guess going to find his sister.

The silence was comfortable, Isla was messing with the papers strewn on her desk and I sat there admiring her hut. Unlike most alpha's the only things she really had in there were pictures of Terrance, the little girl, a girl who I assume is Terrance's sister and a man with fiery red hair and emerald green eyes.

Must be Alpha Isla's mate....

Some were family photos, a couple were singular photos and one or two were of Terrance and his sister I haven't seen before.

They must be twins or something...
Wow so observant today, good job. My wolf said sarcastically.

"Aha! Noel Hale, Finally. Let me explain why you're here." Isla cut through my thoughts and I focused on her, giving her my full attention.
"As well as being alpha I run a secret organization of spies, before you freak out we're good spies I promise. We're in the middle of what's known as the Spy War. Only spy organizations know about this and we like to keep citizens and other supernaturals out of our business as much as possible. Now, I want to recruit you because I think you're perfect for a mission, we've received intel that someone from the Order of Elementals will be trying to steal very important details about our order. Now you're mission -if you choose to accept it- is to get those details first and bring them back here to me. More information as to where and when this will be taking place will be given if you accept."

I mulled it over, it sounded interesting to be honest, but seriously the 'Order of Elementals'? Could no one think of a better name?

If we don't have an awesome name, this is a no go. My wolf demanded and I chuckled.

"One question, what's this group called?"

"Renegades."

I smirked, I really liked the sound of that.

After what seemed like an eternity of debating with my wolf, I finally reached out my hand to shake Isla's with a grin.
"One more question, when do I start?"
