Chapter 4 - The Truth POV: Levy Mcgarden

"After ignoring Gajeel for the past week, I feel that we've become more apart. He's come up to me less and less now. Today will be the day I finally talk to him about how I feel," I say to myself while looking in the mirror. I exit the girls' dorm and wait for Gajeel at the guild hall. After many hours Gajeel entered the Guild with Lily on his shoulder. He looked at me, but I turn away to hide my blushing face. When night falls, I get ready to leave knowing that I won't be able to tell him today. Before I open the doors, Gajeel approaches me, but I ignore him once again and walk out the door. I cry on my bed hoping that he doesn't think I hate him after I've ignored him for so long. I stare out the window and hope for the best tomorrow.
I wake up early and dress up really nicely. I make my way to the secret place Gajeel and Lily train everyday. My face flushes bright red when I see Gajeel shirtless and training. I slowly made my way towards him, but kept myself hidden in the bushes. When Gajeel finally took a break I decided to step out and greet him.
"How long are you gonna stand there Shrimp" Gajeel says while looking in my direction.
"I-I was just about to c-come out," I say with a slight chuckle.
"What're you doing here," Gajeel asks with a depressed expression on his face.
"I wanted... to apologize for ignoring you this past week," I manage to get out without stuttering. Gajeel looks up at me with a shocked expression on his face and I started to feel my face grow red and hot again. Gajeel suddenly walk towards me and puts his hands on my shoulders, making me blush even more.
"I'm sorry as well... for almost killing you that one time," he says while staring into my eyes.
"I-It's ok, you were just f-following orders," I say while getting lost in his eyes. I quickly snap out of my fantasy and notice how close our faces are now. My heart races and my face gets hotter and hotter. He finally backs away and I calm down a little, but my face is still red.
"G-Gajeel, I'm about to ask a r-really serious question ok," I say while looking directly at him.
"Sure I'm all ears," he says while sitting on a rock.
"The truth is... I... I lo-... I love you...," I say as my face turns redder then ever before and my pulse raises to abnormal speeds. Gajeel looks at me with a shocked expression and a hint of pink covering his cheeks.
"S-so I was wondering if you...... would like to go out sometime," I ask while looking at the ground.
"I WOULD LOVE TO!" Gajeel screams in happiness. My face starts to turn back to its regular color as a smile at Gajeel and nod my head.
