Chapter 9 - The Ball (Part 2) POV: Levy Mcgarden

Today was the day of the Ball! I dressed up in a fancy yellow dress that was laced with white silk at the collar and sleeves. I made my way to the guild hall and waited for Gajeel.
"Levy you look amazing! I'm sure Gajeel will be blown away by your looks," Lucy says, creeping up on me.
"T-Thanks," I say as the guild members start to swarm around me rapidly. Erza, Natsu, Wendy, Happy, Lucy, Carla, Mira, Lisanna, Jet, Droy, even master Makarov!! Suddenly, the doors of the guild hall burst open and Gajeel strides in, in a black tuxedo and his hair gelled down. We make eye-contact and I blush.
"Oi, shrimp, let's go," Gajeel says while glaring at the other guild members.
"O-Ok!" I say as I make my way through the horde of people surrounding me. I grab Gajeel's arm and we start to make our way to the Ball.
When we get to that ball somebody came up to us. He was an old man and he was pretty short, but he was basically my height... T_T.
"Are you two the Fairy Tail wizards I asked for?" The old man says to us.
"Yeah I'm Gajeel and this is Levy," Gajeel says while staring down on the old man.
"Good, I am Koby! I am the host of this ball and the one that made that job request. All you need to do is dance. If anything happens like bandits or robbers I am depending on you two to protect us all," says Koby as he walks away into a room.
"So we also have to protect the ball. I see, I knew it wasn't going to be this easy," I say under my breath. "Oh shall we dance?" I say to Gajeel while I put out a hand towards him.
"It would be my pleasure," Gajeel says with a smile, taking my hand. We start to dance happily for hours until I get too exhausted to dance any more. Gajeel goes off and gets me some Wine. I sit down and wipe away the sweat from my forehead. Gajeel comes back and sits down next to me. He hands me a glass and I start to drink it.
"Wow this is amazing! Isn't it amazing Gajeel?" I say to Gajeel with a giant smile on my face.
"Yeah it's pretty nice." Gajeel replies in a pretty dead tone. I puff my cheeks out and start to glare at him. "What?" Gajeel says, staring back at me. I continue to just glare at him until I feel like dancing again.
The Ball is coming to a close and Koby decides to give a speech. Gajeel and I sit down and listen to him patiently. Suddenly, a gunshot echoes throughout the building. I guess it's time to do our job!
