Third Person

In an area somewhere within the outskirts of a town, a small house could be located. In it were two people, currently sleeping as the sun hadn't even risen yet. They were a set of siblings, brother and sister, with the sister being six years older.

A few hours passed and the sun was creeping up into the sky. Light was shining through the windows of the house and reached the sleeping figures in the house. The sister woke up first, standing up and folding her futon before storing it in the corner of the room.

She freshened herself up with a little bit of water, saving as much as possible since the two weren't really the wealthiest. She looked in the mirror, looking at herself wearing her usual red kimono, and then walked out of the room, not bothering to tidy up her long, currently messy hair.

As she got out, her younger brother had just started to open his eyes. He squinted as he stretched his body. Unlike his elder sister, he took his grand ol' time. The kid, who seemed to be about 8, had semi-long hair that is naturally messy, and wore a red kimono similar to that of her sister's.

After some time, he finally tidied up his futon and went out of the room and towards his sister, who happened to be in the kitchen.

"Good morning, Tsutako-neesan!" The boy greeted.
"What are you cooking?"

"Ah. Good morning, Giyu!" The sister said back.
"And, do you really not know what I'm cooking?" She suddenly said with a teasing tone.

"Huh?"

"Come on, try to smell it!"

Giyu obliged, trying to identify what it was by the food's scent. When the smell hit his nose, he immediately knew.
"Salmon radish!" To be fair, it was quite shocking that Giyu couldn't tell what the food was the moment he went out of his room.

"There we go." Tsutako chuckled.

Giyu just happily waited while Tsutako was finishing up the salmon radish, Giyu's very favorite food. Salmon radish, to him, was levels above any food item that have existed and will exist in the future. There was nothing that could beat the taste of salmon radish to the boy. In addition, there was nothing that could beat the taste of salmon radish made by his beloved sister.

The food was finally done. Tsutako was carrying the two bowls and chopsticks towards the table where her little brother was already seated at. She sat down across Giyu, closing her eyes about to say her prayers when he suddenly interrupted.

"Tsutako-neesan."

"Hm? Yes, Giyu?" She opened back her eyes.

"Can I do your braid?" Giyu asked. Tsutako, hearing her brother's request, could only laugh.

"Of course you can, Giyu." She replied with a soft smile.

Giyu's facial expression quickly brightened up. Without saying a word, he jolted up from his chair and ran to the room where the siblings slept. He was seemingly looking for something, until he came back with a red object in his hand.

"Ah! My bow!" Tsutako said in reaction while Giyu giggled.

Tsutako got out of her chair and sat down on the ground. Her little brother sat behind her, already grabbing a little bit of his older sister's hair. And with that, he started the braid.

With every twists and turns, every rolls and twirls, the braid was... not the cleanest... to say the least. It was quite messy. There were a bunch of strands poking out from the rest of the hair. Although, for a person that hadn't done it much, it was pretty good.
