Aubri

"Welcome, students! Please call me Professor Bree because I will be your new AP Calculus teacher. No, I'm not a student, so this could not be one of your questions. With that said, does anyone have any questions? Whoa, okay, we will start with you right here in the front."

"How old are you?" The student said with a cheeky smile.

"That is confidential information," I said, noticing that 93% of the hands up how to do I down.

"You, in the back, your turn," I said, pointing at this student in the back.

"Hi, professor Aubrey, my name is Cassandra Lynn, but you can call me Casey. My pronouns are She slashed her, and I just wanted to ask how you plan on encompassing the science in AP Calculus when you are teaching? "Casey said, well, move your hands around violently.

I think my life had Flash before my eyes because that had to be the scariest thing I've seen all day. She's someone I don't plan on calling on ever. Her tone was just arrogant end. It was in a know-it-all tone. I know I'm asking questions, but that question was just wholly unnecessary. And I know I'm not supposed to judge people at First Sight, but I'm going to believe her. Because if I weren't thinking her, I'd be lying to myself, oh, and that's not good.

"Hello, Casey; since it's an AP Calculus, sadly, you will need to take a class like biology, chemistry, or Environmental science. To get this signed experience, you might want to drop this class. "I said, smiling at her.

Before She could answer, I pointed to someone else.

"What did you major in when you were in University?" This guy said, who was sitting in the front row.

"Fine Arts," I said confidently.

The whole class started to laugh. I last two since it was a topic I regularly brought up to my friends back home in Chicago. Especially since my first "real" job has absolutely nothing to do with my major, I wouldn't say I'm bad at math, but AP Calculus was not one of my strong suits.

"Settle down, class, settle down." I said, pulling up the roster, "let's take roll."

"Abby Mostires."

"Here."

"Tell me a fun fact about yourself, Abby, "I said; buy me some time to write her name down on the seating chart.

"I live in China for a year. It was hell."

"Thank you for that. "I said as I called at the next person, "Aaron Dilgi,"

"Not here, but it's not like you all care," Aaron said, putting his hair behind his ears.

"Thanks," I said casually.

"Our next person is Amanda, right," I said, noticing that the roster was not in alphabetical order.

I got no answer until the person next to an empty seat said, "Amanda's not here today; she's a New York with her family."

"Okay, thank you," I said, marking her seed empty on the roster.

"And finally, Zachary Acura."

"I'm here. And something about me is that I don't want to be in this class," Zachary said, making the whole class last.

"Okay, everyone, pull out your notebooks," I said as I finalized the roster:

Abby Mostires-here

Vanessa Smith-here

Jacob James-here
