Lola stood on the kitchen as mick walked in "are you okay princess" he asked his youngest daughter as Lola nodded

"Are they sure it's Tina?" Lola asked as mick nodded. They knew how Tina had been gone for so long and Lola knew that the idea they she was dead didn't feel real

Lola looked as mick pulled her close and hugged her and smiled "I'm sure I'm sorry. Look why don't you go and see gray. He said he would take you out and take your kid off of it. You Weren't there that night were you?" Mick asked as Lola looked to him and frowned

"What do you mean? The night they she apparently died?" Lola asked as he nodded

"I was but not all night. We weren't together and Chantelle had just died. He was going through a hard time. I went out for food and then she was gone. What are you saying dad?" Lola asked as mick smiled

"Nothing darling. All I know was that gray was the last person to see her alive" mick said as Lola sighed

"Say what you want dad. But gray..he's been through a lot" Lola said

Lola got to grays and smiled as she saw Mia as she sat drawing "are you okay mia" Lola asked as Mia nodded

"I just wish my mum"

"Me too" Lola said. Lola knew how she felt like she didn't know who her mum was since she was drinking and she hated it

Lola made herself a coffee and sighed as she ran a hand through her hair as she sat next to Mia.

She looked to see gray as he walked into the room

"Your meant to be resting you just got out of the hospital" Lola said as gray smiled

"I'm walking around the house. I'm not doing a 10k run lo. How are my girls" gray asked as she smiled

"Tired. You heard over Tina. My dad is asking questions and I just don't know what to think" Lola said as he walked over to her and smiled

He placed a hand on her cheek and smiled "I wish I had the answers for you but I am sorry over Tina" he said as she smiled

"It's not your fault" Lola said as she stood up. He placed a hand on her cheek and smiled. Lola knew that all of it was getting to her

Lola was walking through the square. She stopped by the arjee barjee. She saw the police tape and sighed. She felt weird knowing how her aunt was there. How she had been there for months and no one knew about it.

Lola felt someone stand by her. She turned to see Whitney. "I'm sorry. I know she meant a lot to you," she told her.

Lola sighed. "I thought she had left. That she had gone on the run after what had happened. But she hadn't. She was here all along. And I just feel so bad. Knowing that she suffered," she mumbled.

Whitney nodded. She looked to her. "Do you think Gray could have done this? No one really knows what he's like."

Lola rolled her eyes and sighed. She shook her head. "No. I don't think he did have anything to do with it. He had just lost Chantelle. He was looking after his kids. They're what mean the most to him," she told her.

"It's just... I don't trust him."

Lola scoffed. "You're being ridiculous and you know it. You just need to keep your mouth shut. You were pretty close to Gray. So I don't know why you're acting like this."

Lola walked into Gray's. He smiled and looked to her. "Do you want a drink?" He asked as he poured some wine.

"Sure. I need to take my mind off of everything that's happened. I just can't believe it. Tina was here and she was dead. I don't know how anyone didn't notice. It breaks my heart," Lola mumbled.

Gray smiled and handed her the drink. He knew Lola had been there for him. "I'm sure whatever happened will come out soon. You just need to have hope."

Lola looked to him. She was grateful for Gray and how he had been there for her. She sighed. "I hope whoever hurt her, rots in hell. It's all they deserve. They killed an amazing person. And they're not going to get away with it. I promise you that."

Lola walked back into the pub. She saw Janine standing behind the bar. She raised her eyebrows. "You do realise you're not my mum? You're not the one in charge here."

"Your dad wants me here."

"Yeah. Well. He's the only one who does. Stop trying to be Linda. Because it won't happen. And soon enough, my mum will come back. And you'll be gone," lola said as she walked upstairs.

Mick was there with Shirley. Both of them obviously still upset at what happened. Mick smiled. "You okay princess?" He asked as he looked to her.

Lola nodded. She sat down and sighed. "Yeah. Everything is good. I walked past the restaurant earlier. And it's so sad to know that she was there and we didn't know? How long had she been there?"

"No one knows."

Lola sighed as she walked off into her room. She got changed and grabbed her phone as she text Gray.

Lola knew that she and Gray had a connection. But she had no idea just how everything was going to change between them both.

Especially when the truth was revealed about just who Gray Atkins really was.
