Chapter 4: Academy Days

While Itachi left for his first day as Genin, the younger twins woke up full of energy after hearing that their father is going to train them. They both quickly put on their training clothes running downstairs. Their mother provided then a delicious and healthy breakfast to fuel up the boys. After finishing their morning meal, the boys ran out on the Uchiha training ground in anticipation for their first day of training.

"Are you ready Naruto?"

"Of course, I was born ready!"

Sasuke nodded his head smiling "Today's the day we start our journey to become ninjas. What do think father is going to teach us?"

Naruto put thumb in thought "I don't know, hopefully it's some cool jutsu or something. When do you think we'll unlock our Sharingan Sasuke?"

Sasuke laid out a confident grin "Hopefully soon maybe we can unlock it before Itachi-nii does."

Suddenly they hear their father open the door outside. He was dress in his usual Konoha police uniform instead of his usual kimono he normally wears. His stern appearance on as usual as he observed his two sons closely.

"Alright kids time for your first day of training. Listen to what I am about to say. Before you start, I must warn you that I will not go easy on you. You will take this training seriously. Think of me as your sensei instead of your father. A sharp shinobi needs who can think for himself in the heat of battle. It's what separates the strong from the weak.

I believe you two have the greatest potential even more your older brother. Yesterday you two had a taste of what the real world has to offer. As you see there are people that will despise you regardless of who you are. Don't listen to those fools Naruto. You are my son and that will never change plus you're an Uchiha so process the bloodline of the greatest clan in Konoha.

I will begin training you on your path to be shinobi. The journey to become a shinobi is never easy and there are no shortcuts. There will be decisions you have to make that will impact those around you. Only you decide how far you want to achieve your goals. For now, you will perform basic exercises to get you started.

"What! We aren't going to perform any jutsus?!" the kids protested he made nod as if he expected their answer.

"Don't get too ahead of yourself boys, you need to build your body stamina before I'll teach you any ninjutsu. I'll help shape you up so that your body can handle the next part. Alright come at me right now. I need to see where you stand now."

The Uchiha twins looked at their father hesitantly "Y-You mean we fight you? But there's no way we can even scratch you " Sasuke replied nervous at the prospect of fighting their father in one-on-one combat.

"Come on Sasuke don't tell me you're a chicken. I'm not afraid of you old man, you may be our father, but that won't mean I'll hesitate to mop the floor with you!" Naruto pointed his finger at the elder Uchiha.

"You're acting rather bold Naruto I hope you can back them up" Fugaku unleashed his killer intent. Sasuke was at the mercy of his father's attack as he was like a frozen animal whose tail was stuck between their legs even Naruto feeling somewhat scared from the man's piercing gaze, but shrugged it off, he wasn't going to let that old man scare him away.

Naruto attempted a punch to the elder Uchiha square in the face, he blocked it with ease, then Sasuke jumped to where Naruto was and landed a swift kick on the side to which Fugaku grabs Sasuke's leg. He landed a solid punch at the two's faces resulting in them crashing into the ground as they rubbed their throbbing faces.

"Ow! That hurt I didn't even see that punch" replied Naruto.

"That punch hurt" replies Sasuke.

"Not bad you two, for little kids you pack some power in that punch especially you Naruto and you Sasuke you're pretty agile for a child your age."
