I sucked in a deep breath as the words escaped Annie's lips.

When was I going to tell Y/N?

For a long time now, I've avoided this conversation, yet, now it's unfolding.

"Annie." I sternly reply.

"We haven't spoken since that time, Armin..." She starts, looking me straight in the eyes.

"Why do you always have to bring it up??" I ask in annoyance as I clench my jaw.

"You're always avoiding what happened," she replies matter of factly.

"I was drunk". I state with a straight face, unamused by what she was trying to get at.

There was a silence that filled the closet for a few seconds, Annie and I giving each other piercing glares- until she replied.

"You weren't drunk those other times." She was right, I knew she was right; I just couldn't get myself to accept it, to admit it. To admit what really happened between the both of us.

"That was because you blackmailed me". I snap. By now my face was bright red out of the multiple emotions I felt at that moment. A cold sweat ran down my neck and my stomach felt queasy, I felt nauseous.

"Now, I wouldn't call it blackmailing..." she chuckles under her breath.

"You took advantage of me," I shout.

"Likewise".

"IT WASN'T EVEN LIKE THAT ANNIE, YOU EVEN KNOW SO!! SO STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM ALL OF A SUDDEN!!" I scream in her face as I punch the wall behind her out of anger.

"I'm not playing the victim. With your logic, you could say we're both in the wrong here." Again, she was right. The truth has been suffocating me, following me like a shadow. Yet again, I just couldn't get myself to admit it.

"What's your problem, Annie? I thought we left this in the past?" I mutter, giving her amused face a death stare

"Right, if you're not going to tell Y/N soon enough, then I will. That's all I wanted to talk to you about,"

"Annie, please don't!" I beg. "I can't mess up things with her!"

"Then do what you have to do". She states before slamming the door behind her and exiting the closet.

After a minute or so of collecting my thoughts, I exit the closet. I felt sick to my core and Y/N still hadn't come back from the restroom. There wasn't any point in staying there. I'm going to go home.

I exit the room and make my way through the large crowd of people.

Finally getting out, I get in my car and begin to drive home.

Y/N's POV:

It had been around 15 minutes of waiting at the bus stop and the uber driver still hadn't arrived yet. This place was in the middle of nowhere but if he didn't get here any time soon I'd probably freeze to death.

Walking back and forth on the sidewalk, I notice a familiar car driving awfully slow, it for sure wasn't the uber driver's car, it was a blue one that I could have sworn I'd seen before. It still didn't ring a bell though. It looked as if it was approaching me due to the slow pace it was driving at.
