Chapter 16

A week later

     *Kiara's POV*

I lazily turn to my right just to be met with the sun, blinding me for a few seconds until I sit up on the bed. I look over at the alarm clock and my eyes widen. It's half past seven! I'm supposed to leave home by now for school! Without wasting another minute I quickly wash, not having the time to shower today. I changed into a jumpsuit since it didn't have to be ironed.

I applied minimal makeup since I didn't have much time before stepping into my black boots and zipping them up and rushing out of the room to Harry's room.

"Harry? Are you awake?" I asked through the door before I thought I didn't have time to wait for him at the door so I let myself in.

"I'm getting ready" he says and I close my eyes and he laughs. "I have my boxers on" he says and I slowly open my eyes looking straight at his wardrobe, avoiding his stare. I grab him a shirt and pants and quickly iron them and hand them to him and remind him to grab his bag that's on his table on his way out and he nods before I run downstairs to meet Josie.

"Good morning! Jose, we're late! I need to quickly pack up breakfast for both of us-"

"It's already done love. Lenny!" She calls and Lenny comes in with two lunch bags and hands them to me. I thank her with a smile and Harry rushes down the stairs. His shirt is not fully buttoned and I'm glad he didn't forget his blazer and office bag.

"Let's go?" I ask him and he nods waving towards Josie and Lenny and then follows me outside to the car. Thankfully Mathews is ready and already has the car ready for us to leave right away. We both get in the back and we leave for work.

"I'll put these for you.." I say quietly once we're both seated since he hasn't buttoned the first few buttons of his shirt. I can feel him staring at me but I keep my gaze on his shirt, buttoning them up and then tying his tie for him. "Gosh, Harry, your hair" I laugh softly, grabbing my brush and combing his curls a little but mostly just running my fingers around them until it looks pretty good.

"Thank you" he says and I nod with a smile.

"Miss Kiara, we'll be at school in five minutes" Mathews says from the front and I thank him, keeping my stuff ready next to me to get down.

When we reach my school, I tell Mathews to drop me off at the gate but Harry wasn't having that so he gets Mathews to drop me right in front of the entrance of the school.

"Bye!" I swiftly kiss Harry's cheek and get down from the car giving both him and Mathews a wave before rushing inside.

"Good morning! Sorry I'm late!" I rushed, running towards the lift since it was almost closing. "Hold that please!" I end up banging my hands on the closed doors of the lift instead of being in it. I groan and almost head for the stairways before the door opens revealing Daniel standing there.

"Thank you" I mumble and try to collect myself since I'm a panting mess. I gulp down almost the whole bottle of water and then let out a deep sigh.

"Had a late night?" I look up to him as he looks down at me. Why are all the sirs' so tall? Or am I that short?

"Sort of." I smile and he nods. I keep looking at the time on my phone even though I know I'm late and there's no point.

"This is my floor. I'll see you later!" I rush out of the lift and walk fast to the library while grabbing a few books out to hold in my hands only to knock over someone and drop all of them down.

"I'm so sorry! Let me help you" it happens way too fast for me to even look at the person I accidentally knocked on. But I'm grateful they were nice enough to help me collect the books from the floor.
