Hayes P.O.V

"Hayes wake up!"

I instantly jump up out if my bed to see Nash holding skylnn in his am at my door

"Come you have to get ready for school"  Nash Said and walk out of my room. I put on some jeans and a magcon hoodie. I ran down stairs and nash grabbed his keys and we both hopped in the car.

"So what's going on with you and august" nash Said looking at the road

I paused because I  don't know what is going on with me and august. She is a beautiful, funny girl andi thought we did have something, she kissed me but ever since the lock down at school it's like she has been ignoring me.

"Uh I honestly don't know like she kissed me but since the lock down she hasnt spoke to me" I finely said

Nash nodded "you should do something about that"

I didn't know what he meant but I didn't respond. We arrived at the school and i ran out trying to catch to August

I saw here at her locker and jump in front of her "hey you busy later" I said

"Um idk why" she said confused

"I was thinking i could come over and me and you could talk" she closed her locker

" Um sure after school"  she questioned

" yep" she nodded and walked off i couldn't wait

August P.O.V

School went by pretty fast. I saw hayes in a few of my classes but i tried to ignore him. I really do like hayes it's just i get this feeling that if I did go out with him something would happen and I don't mean something good. I got home I was only there long enough to put my bag in my room and then I heard the doorbell

I opened the door and hayes ran in sitting on the couch signalling me to sit next to him

" Ok why have you been ignoring me " he said straight up

"Because of emily"

"What do you mean" he was confused

"She threatened me" I looked away

" she cant hurt you" he put his hand on mine

" how do you know" I questioned

" because i will protect" he put his hand on my cheek and moved in closer and closer until our lips touched i wrapped my arms around his neck. I pulled away

"What are we now" I blurted out

"What do you wanna be "

"Am I your girlfriend"

" only if I can be your boyfriend" he kissed me lightly again

We watched a movie until it started getting late and he left and told me to meet him at my locker tomorrow. I was really happy my life was going pretty good. I have a cute boyfriend and my best friend lives with me nothing could  ruine it.....yet.
