Mason invited me to go on a run with Liam and him. I accepted since I wanted to clear my mind. Clearing my mind is the one time I'll accept running.

"It's not just that we were friends with them. They were using us for their cover. I mean, professional killers were using us. How are you not freaking out about that?" Mason rants.

"Trust me, I'm freaking out about a lot." Liam
admits. I couldn't help but feel bad.

"Liam, slow down. Liam! Hey, Liam." An out of breath Mason snaps me out of it.

"Don't worry. I'll get him." I take off running in the same direction.

Liam comes to a stop.

"Hey, what are you doing?" I asked out of breath. He doesn't respond but looks behind us.

Liam quickly steps in front of me. He embraces me into a kind of hug, but it seemed as if he was trying to shield me. Then, a car rams into us, sending both of us flying.

"Hey, Liam, Iz." A voice comes from in front of us. "Sorry about missing movie night. Don't worry. I got something else planned.

Garrett walks over to a bloody Liam and stabs him again. My leg was in so much pain from the impact of the car. I was also bloody. I bring up my hand to conjure up a spell before Garrett put witch shackles on me. Like the ones in Mexico.

"What the hell? Where did you get this." I hissed out from the pain in my leg.

"A friend." He smiled. He punches me in the face knocking me out.

I awaken moments later to Liam splashing around. I grab my face where Garrett had previously hit me.

"Liam. Liam? Are you okay?" I panicked. I let down another person I was supposed to protect.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Garrett stabbed me and it's not healing."

"Not healing? What are you talking about?"

He lifts part of his shirt up. I walk closer to see what he was talking about as it was starting to get dark out. He wasn't lying about the not healing.

"It's wolfsbane." I whispered. I didn't realize how close I was standing.

We just stand there. I only then realized he was stabbed near the heart. I was in shackles, so I can't remove it.

"We need to get out if here." I interrupt the little moment.

"Can't you, like, use your magic?"

"No. The chains on my wrists are special. They prevent me from doing any magic." I explained.

"You're a Banshee. Can't you scream to let them know where we are?"

"I know as little about being a Banshee. I don't know exactly how to turn it off and on."

"We're screwed aren't we?"

"Yeah." I nod softly.

We stand there for a second. Liam clutches his chest. He's becoming weaker by the second. I was going to ask him to use any strength to break the chains, but he might need it for something else.

We looked at each other. It was like we had the same idea. We started screaming for help.

Hours had past and it was already dark outside. Liam came up with the idea to try to climb the walls. I'm not really built for that so, I let him try.

He was almost to the top, but started to shake.

"Liam, you're okay! You got this!" I yelled.

He hesitated for a second. He then started to fall. I step out the way as he falls back into the water. He stands up from out the water.
