Liam's Pov

It's been five months since Izzy went missing. We tried to find her, but nothing worked. I had to break up with her because someone was blackmailing me. School was about to start in two weeks. Hayden also left town. I haven't really been the same since Izzy left.

"Do you think I'm trustworthy?" I ask my best friend.

"I think you are. Why?" Mason questions.

"No reason." I mumble turning away.

"Well, I like to think you are. But, unfortunately, the one person you should have trusted doesn't trust you back." Mason admits. I take a moment to think.

"Izzy." I mumbled looking down. No one has really mentioned her name in the five months of her being gone.

"It's okay if you're still hurting over something you thought you'd healed from, It's okay if your progress seems backwards or feels slow, It is okay if you've still got some healing to do." Mason rants on.

I knew deep down what we had to do.

Izzy's Pov

Five months has went by. I figured they haven't looked for me giving that I did tell them not to look for me.

"Izzy!" My foster mom yells for me. I legally still belonged to Melissa, but since no one could find me I expected it to be fine.

"Yes?" I spoke softly.

"We are out of some food. Go to the store and get more." She demands shoving a list in my face. I grab the list from her gently. She backhands me. "Be grateful we took you in. When you arrived you looked like an obese pig. Now, grab the list from me gently." She demands. I followed her orders. I put on my torn shoes and step outside. I knew I had a good hour to spare before she realized I was gone for too long.

I arrive at the store. I was forced to walk since I did cloak my car. If my foster parents knew I had it they would destroy it.

I walked up and down the aisles grabbing everything she said to get. She didn't give me any money, so I had to use the last bit from when I ran away. It wasn't even food for me. The last five months they starved me. They gave me scraps here and there and one full meal a month to keep me alive. I was very pale and sick looking. I also started to lose weight because 'I was getting too big' while I was gone.

I head down to the milk aisle to grab some when I see someone I have never expected to see. I thought it was all in my head from the hallucinations from the not eating or sleeping again.

"Go away, Liam." I mumble.

"What happened to you?" He quickly grabs onto me. Okay this was in fact real. "Izzy-"

"Get off of me. I don't know you like that." I push him off. That whole pack became strangers when I left.

"Izzy, just let me talk to you for a moment, please." He begged.

"You have two minutes." I warn trying to cover any bruises or cuts. Or should I say stab wounds.

"Look, maybe you don't remember. But, I do. You are part of this pack. You're our friend. Scott's sister." He tries to reach out for me. I step back.

"You're wrong." Is all I can mutter up to say.

"You don't belong here, Iz."

"Don't call me that. You lost your right to call me that." I spit looking down.

"It's apart of who you are." Liam tries to remind me.

"What do you want from me?" I ask as tears fill my eyes. I so desperately try to keep my voice down to stop other people from looking.
