Peter swung through the streets of Queens, the wind against his back. He sighed outwardly, happy to finally get a break to just...swing. Lately Peter has been very pent up with lying to the Avengers about his whereabouts. He hated lying to them but he didn't want them to know he was Spider-Man. Peter had to get used to lying to people considering he was Spider-Man but lying to the people that he loved was so hard, he hated it. But he did it with Mj and Ned but it was to keep them safe. But when it came to the Avengers it was different, because he doesn't have to protect them but he knew he would hurt them by tellng them, they would be so worried about him but mad because they thought they could trust him.

He kept swinging until he reached his apartment window and climbed in. He really missed the feeling of freedom, but with being a superhero he knew he wouldn't get much of that. He changed out of his suit and put on some comfy sweats along with his MIT hoodie. Speaking of MIT he needed to complete some classwork. He finished up some homework and started on this essay he had to write although is was getting to the end of his semester he had alot of work to complete. Peter hated classwork and was happy this semester was coming to an end. He turned on some show for background noise and before he knew it he was fast asleep.

As the sunlight seeping through the blinds and hit Peter's closed eyes, he rolled over and groaned. After 15 minutes of mooping about having to get up so early, he got up and streched and headed for the restroom. He took a shower and brushed his teeth. He got dressed and headed for the Avengers tower. As he walked to the tower his mind kept replaying his moment with tony. '' i'm sorry'' tony stated with a sad expression, he shook his head of that memory. Ever since that day he couldn't stop thinking about Tony's apology and how sincere he was. Peters steps slowed as he got near the Avengers tower, he wouldn't say he hated the Avengers or the tower but it made him feel small, like he had no meaning on earth, no such bane of exisistince. He laughed off the thought silently with a grim face. As he stepped foot into the lobby he smiled and said hello to Shelly, the young woman at the front desk that also happend to have classses with Peter last semester.

He walked towards the private elevator and went to the Avengers floor. As the door opended he felt like he was in a horror movie, instead of hearing talking, screaming and laughter, all he heard was silence, He slowly walked off the elevator and into the living room and went to the kitchen, but still no sign of the Avengers. Peter called out and still got no response. He finally asked Friday where they were and she said she had no idea but she does know they are on the floor. Peter sighed and began to walk to dfferent places of the floor until he went to the confrence room where he heard them in a heated argument, he could barely decipher what they were saying but he did hear " AND WHAT ABOUT PETER HUH?!" from tony before he came into the room silently and stood against the door. They all went silent at his arrival, " what about me?" he said with a raised eyebrow.

He stood there for what felt like an eternity before Wanda spoke up. "Peter we need to talk about something with you" Peter sat down away from the table and signaled them to start talking. " we want to start looking for Spider-Man and invite him to our team but that means you won't be working with us as much" Steve said with a frown. Peter smiled slightly " oh, that's fine with me I should probably find a hobby or something, I really haven't had much time to do other stuff since I got this job anyways." They all sighed, relieved he's not mad at them. " did you guys think I was gonna be mad about that?" He says with a grin. "Yeah we did." Bucky says with a laugh.
