It's been a few weeks since Gerard first came in. And all I could say was that I'm completely in. It wasn't a silly little crush anymore it was getting bigger and bigger every day. I really started to catch feelings for this man.

I haven't seen a ring on his finger but he can't be single right?
Well if he is taken then he's a bad one. Because we've been flirting back and forth for the past couple of weeks.

Even though we can't really call it flirting, just couple compliments and stuff.

To be honest his compliments made my day.
And the drawing he did. I hung it up on my bedroom wall.
It actually really bringed the space together.
I loved the drawing and every time I looked at it, it made me smile.

Every work day he's there he does not skip a day. But he probably comes here everyday even if I'm not at work.

I got to work at 11 am today. Luckily got to sleep more. For the last few days I've been so tired since my coworker was sick and I had to cover her shifts as well.
But now she's back.

"Hey Y

! How are you?" My coworker asked.
"I'm good, what about you?"

She went to the kitchen and I went to the front to take orders and make coffee.

I had a good feeling about today. It was going pretty well so far.

Soon enough 12 am rolled around.
And you already know who stepped in. Gerard.
He had his usual smile on his face as he walked up to the counter.

"Hey!" He said.
"Hey, medium black coffee again?" I said in a hyped tone.
"Of course, but actually let's try something new." He said. It Surprised me because he's been ordering the same thing since day 1.

"Okay… like what?" I asked smiling.
"Maybe a slice of that cake." He said pointing towards a chocolate cake with vanilla filling.
"Uuhh great choice. Anything else?" I said.
"No that's it!" He said smiling.

He paid and before he left to sit on his spot he said.
"OH and you're really pretty today, well like always."
"Thanks!"

He went to sit and I started on his coffee. I put the last piece of the cake on a plate and grabbed a fork to go with it.

After he left and I cleaned up his table i got a call from my boss.

"Hey Y

I called to ask if you would be interested in something."
"Like what?"
"Since you've been a really good worker I decided to give you a promotion!"
"Really!" I was so happy to hear that.
"Yeah, you'll be working as the owner of the coffee shop in the main street." I had to leave this place? I didn't want to but the new job would be financially a good choice for me.
"So are you in?" He asked.
"Yes, when am I starting?"
"Tomorrow,before that's okay with you. I have to teach you some things."
"Ummm yea it's okay." No it wasn't how was I supposed to see Gerard now? I didn't think today would be the last day that I see him. Yes,  I was so happy about it. But at the same time Gerard.

But why do I care he's just a customer. And he doesn't come here for me. If he would I would tell him somehow that I'm not gonna work here anymore. But if I just said that I'm moving to the other coffee shop he probably wouldn't care. And I would make a complete fool of myself.

But who cares I'm gonna get a new job and it will help me financially.
Okay maybe I care a little. But he probably doesn't.

Gerard's pov

Today was a good day. Y/n seemed to be happy as well. Well she seemed to be really tired for the past few days so it's really good that she's happy. 

And the real reason I still went that coffee shop was Y/n. Of course the coffee was good but I started to have a big crush on her.

A/n: sorry this took long I lost the material cuz my phone broke but now I have a new phone also today is my birthday so yea. Sorry its short I'll try to write more today! Also didn't proof read it lol
