The students in the classroom were sitting silently waiting for the bell to ring for the start of summer to begin. Just as the bell rings everyone hurries out of their class ready to celebrate their summer. Three boys Richie, Bill and Eddie walk out of their class having an interesting conversation.

"So, there's a church full of Jews, right!", "And Stan has to take a super Jew test,'' Richie says.

"So, how's it work?", Bill asks.

"They slice the top of his dick of", Eddie says waving his hands.

"But then, he'll have nothing left," Richie says.

Stanley sees them walking and joins them, before Bill can say anything they see a familiar girl, a brown haired girl with white streaks. They saw a teacher praising the girl, "Thank you, miss Jones", she says with a soft smile.

"D-Do you ever wonder how a girl like her is friends with us", Bill says to no one in particular.

"Yo, Eve!", Richie yells frantically waving at her.

Evelyn turns around and walks over to them.

"Hey guys, what's the plan for summer?", She asks.

"We haven't decided yet, we're just talking about Stan bar Mitzvah," Eddie says.

"Ed s-s-says they slice the top of his dick" Bill stuttered.

"They do!?", Evelyn says worried as Richie snickers.

Stanley lets out a sigh before shaking his head, "don't worry Evelyn. At the bar Mitzvah I read from the Torah and then I make a speech and I suddenly become a man".

"Wow, you can become a man just like that! "Evelyn says, surprised, shaking Eddie's shoulder.

Bill and Stanley laugh at her excitement and Richie just smirks.

"I can name a more funner way to become a man", Richie says trying to impress Evelyn.

"You mean, fun", Stanley corrects as Evelyn just pats Richie to make him feel better.

The group had become silent walking past the bowers gang consisting of Henry, Belch, Victor and Patrick. Henry winks at Evelyn. Seeing Evelyn feeling uncomfortable the group push away form the bowers gang as Rich grabs her hand.

"Do you think they'll sign my yearbook? "Dear Richie, sorry for taking a hot stemming dump in your backpack last month, have a great summer" Richie jokingly says.

"Best feeling ever", Stanley says as they group dumps their books in the trash except Evelyn which they all know because her mum would like to check how much school work she had done.

"Yeah? Try tickling your pickle for the first time", Richie jokes.

"What do you want to do tomorrow?, Eddie says.

"Start my training", Richie says.

"For what", Eddie furrowed his brows.

"Street fighter, duh. And Eve's gonna cheer for me", Evelyn looks up from her phone and raises a brow.

"Is that how you want to spend your summer, Inside an arcade" Eddie says.

"And who said I am coming with you, Richie", Evelyn laughs agreeing with Eddie.

"Awe, Eve not you too", Richie whines making her roll her eyes at him.

"It's better than being inside your mother, ooh!" Richie holds up wrist for a high five from Evelyn and Stan but Bill just grabs Evelyn's wrist so she doesn't agree with Richie. Stan grabbed Richie's wrist and lowered his arm making Richie pout.

"What if we go the quarry", Stanley asked. "Ooh, I like that idea", Evelyn excitedly says, jumping up and down as they all laugh at her.

"Guys, we can go t-to the barrens?," Bill asks.

"Right", Stanley muttered.

Evelyn is brave but hearing the place made her tense up.

"Look, it's Betty Ripsom mom" Eddie says.

Everyone's eyes averted towards her.

Evelyn felt pity and sadness. Betty had been one of her closest friends. Evelyn's parents and her parents were friends with each so they would often see each other and have family dinners together. The group knew Evelyn was close to Betty and felt bad for her.

"Does she really expect her to come out of school?" Stanley asked.

Hearing that question, Evelyn glares at Stanley. "Don't say that Stan!", she says.

"I don't know, Evelyn. I don't think Betty Ripsom has been hiding in HomeEC for the last few weeks", Eddie states.

"Oh, sure in a ditch a ditch all decomposed, covered in worms, and maggots, smelling like Eddie's mom underwear", Richie says but shuts up when he sees Evelyn's sad face.

"Shut up, Richie", Eddie scolds him.

"She's not dead, just m–m-missing," Bill said.

They all become silent knowing about Bill's younger brother Georgie who went missing. Evelyn walks up to Bill, giving him a comforting smile which makes him feel a little better.

Richie pushes up his glasses, "Sorry Bill, she's missing". The friends start to walk away, "you know, the barrens aren't so bad, who doesn't like walking in shitty water-"

Before he could finish, Richie's backpack gets grabbed by a boy who push him at Stanley knocking them both over. Patrick grabs Stanley's Kappa and holds it in front of him.

"Nice frisbee, flamer", Patrick says as Evelyn glares at him but he ignores her.

"Give it back!" Stanley says and went to grab it but Patrick threw the kappa onto a passing bus. Evelyn without thinking goes to punch Patrick in the face giving him a bloody nose.

Everyone was shocked at the moment neither did the loser club or the Bowers gang knew she could fight.

"I know martial arts okay so don't you ever touch my friends again", Evelyn threatened the bowers gang.

Henry smirked, and looked at her as if he was checking her out, "You know Evelyn, you're beautiful, smart and one of the wealthiest kids at school. I don't know why you hang out with losers like them. You should be hanging out with me instead".

The loser club had become very protective of Evelyn trying to shield her away from him.

"No", Evelyn rolls her eyes at him in disgust.

Henry got annoyed, "Listen her, miss perfect, you're lucky I don't hit cute and pretty girls like you so don't push it".

With that Belch burped in Eddie's face.

"Loser" Henry, mutters to Bill pushing him against his shoulders.

Before they could leave, Bill shouted, "You s-s-s-suck Bowers".

"Shut up, Bill," Eddie whispers to Bill.

"Did you s-s-s-say something. B-b-b-Billy, you got a free ride this year cause your little brother, Denbrough", Henry says walking up to Bill, Evelyn gives Henry a threatening glare for him to stay back from Bill, she hesitates to fight Henry to not make a scene, giving Henry the opportunity to walk forward to Bill.'

Henry looked over at his father, a cop, who lowered his glasses looking at Henry.

Evelyn sees this and smirks, Henry glares at her.

"This summer is gonna be a hurt-train for you and your #### friends", Henry says to Bill licking his hand and wiping it on Bill's face.

The Bowels gang walk away in laughter as Evelyn gets a handkerchief from her pocket and wipes the saliva of Bill's face.

"I wish he would go missing", Richie says, grabbing Evelyn's wrist.

"I bet he's the one doing it" Eddie replies.

Evelyn stares at the ground...

"By the way, Eve have I ever told you how cool you are".
