The boy was bleeding badly, the only thing Evelyn could think of was to try to stop the bleeding.

She took off her expensive jersey that she wore over her top. She ripped the Jersey to be used as a cloth. She carefully wrapped the jersey around the boy's wound.

The boy and the group were admiring her for taking quick action.

No one spoke.

Richie stared at her, he didn't know what he was feeling but he was proud of her.

They got on Bill's bike as the group rode their bikes to find the nearest pharmacy.

Then Eddie started talking.

"I think it's really great we're helping the new kid but we should also need to think of our own safety".

"I mean, he's bleeding all over and you guys know there's an AIDS epidemic happening right now as we speak, right. My mom's friend in New York city got it by touching a dirty pole in the subway. And a drop of AIDS blood got into his system through a hangnail,

A Hangnail!".

"A-and you can amputate legs and arms. B-but how do you amputate a waist?", he screamed.

"But, Eddie didn't I cover his wound with a jersey so it wouldn't get infected", Evelyn says as the arrive in a alleyway.

"Yeah, what you did Evelyn was awesome. I mean, you're the only one who actually listens to me, this is why you're my favorite, because you get how bacteria can spread", Eddie quickly says.

Richie rolls his eyes.

"You did g-good, Evelyn", Bill says with a smile.

"Thanks".

They all put their bikes on the side of the Alley way.

"Richie, Evelyn, wait here", "Evelyn in charge", Bill said.

"Cmon", he says signaling the rest to follow him to find a pharmacy.

"Glad, I got to meet you before you died", Richie said to the bleeding boy.

"Beep beep, Richie", Evelyn says, giving him a disapproving nod.

"Thanks for helping me out earlier", the boy says to Evelyn.

Evelyn gives him a soft smile, "It's alright, By the way name is Evelyn and this is Richie. What's your name?".

"Ben", he replies.

There was an awkward silence.

Meanwhile Bill, Stanley and Eddie were busy getting stuff from the pharmacy.

"Can we afford all that?"Bill asked as Eddie was aggressively picking up items to treat the bleeding boy the had left with Evelyn and Richie.

"It's all we got", Stanley says looking at the small amount of money he was holding.

"Are you kidding me?", Eddie says.

"I kinda wish now, we had brought Evelyn with us", Stanley says.

"Yeah Bill, we could have gotten help from Evelyn!", Eddie says angrily.

"S-sorry guys, I just thought leaving Evelyn with the boy was the right choice because shes more m-m-mature enough to look after him, unlike Richie", Bill says.

They were silent until Bill spoke up again, "Wait, you have a-account here don't you?".

"My mom finds out I bought all this stuff for myself, I'm spending the whole weekend in the emergency room getting x-rayed", Eddie whispers.
