Evelyn was walking down her neighborhood and could feel eyes on her. Coming from a wealthy privileged family made people judge her, so it was always hard for her to make friends when she was little.

She scrolls through her phone looking through the pictures of her friends. Her friends may be called losers but she had always felt the happiest around them.

She stopped walking when she felt an eerie feeling that someone was watching her. It wasn't unusual for people to stare at her but this time she felt chills down her body.

She told herself that whoever it was had no chance against her as she had been taking self defense classes along with all the other classes she was in.

Seeing how close her house is, she quickly runs to her home.

Shutting the door, she looks around to see where her parents were.

Evelyn went to the kitchen to see a note...

Dear, Evelyn

Your father and I have to go somewhere important. We will come home tomorrow because we have to go out of Derry for a bit.

There is food already prepared by the maid, she won't be with you though because her mother is sick so you will be by yourself. But, I'm sure you can handle being by yourself.

Your, Mother

Evelyn sighs putting the note away, her parents were always busy. Her mother was a reporter in a news channel so she was always out and her father worked in a company owning the latest technology. That is most why her family was successful and made lots of money. Although she loved that she was privileged, she longed for her parents' attention. It was stupid wish but that's what she wanted.

Her parents were always so busy they never had the time for her and the only reason they were living in Derry was because her grandma owned the house they live in so when her grandma passed away, her mother inherited this house.

Evelyn wasn't hungry so she went to her room to work on continuing to write her novel.

Evelyn had a wild imagination, so when she was little she liked to write stories. However, what she loves more than writing stories is acting. She loved to make up her reality and role play them.

Evelyn remembered when she and Betty used to act together.

Evelyn's thoughts were interrupted when she thoughts, when she glanced out her bedroom window to see, Betty from her window outside her house.

Betty looked all bloody up, disfigured and she couldn't see her legs.

Chills ran through Evelyn's body as she went to take another glance but she was gone.

Evelyn was confused, "Richie was right, I think to much. I need therapy...", she sighed rubbing her eyes.

Was she really thinking too much about Betty?

She had to be hallucinating right?

Evelyn looks over her shoulder to see Betty floating over her bed.

She was wearing a long dress and blood was dripping on Evelyn bed sheets.

Evelyn was too scared to move but Betty twisted her head and attempted to attack Evelyn. She screams and runs down the stairs.

Usually Evelyn would have enough strength to fight back but she was so scared all her self defense classes had failed her as she hurried outside.

Betty Ripsom, Chases her and pins her to the ground.

Tears start to fill her eyes, fear had taken over her body.

Betty goes to taunt her, telling her that she is worthless and not good enough.

"Evelyn, come with me. You won't be a failure, then  and you'll the attention you deserve !"

When all hope seemed lost for her she was able to remember a move she learned in self-defense class.

After escaping her fearful grip, she grabs a knife from the kitchen and throws it at Betty.

Betty screams in agony as her face starts to melt.

Evelyn took the opportunity to run as fast as she could out of her house.

She took one last glance at her doorsteps to see a clown with a red balloon. He smiled at her and yelled, "the fun has only just begun, Eve".

Evelyn continues to run as fast as she could until she bumps into someone sending her and that person falling to the ground.

"Urgh, Watch it...", before Richie could continue he saw the girl that had bump into him was Evelyn.

"Eve, what's wrong and you look like you've seen a ghost", he says her traumatized figure with blood on her shoe. Her hands shaking from the frightful event that had just occurred to her.

"Eve, are you hurt?, which shit head hurt you?, was it the Bowers gang?" Richie rambled.

He didn't like to see Evelyn upset and she always had a smile on her face.

Richie was still thinking what he should do to make her feel better when Evelyn hugged him and buried her face in his chest.

Richie was madly blushing, but he knew had to control the redness of his checks.

"Richie...there was a clown and blood and Betty", Evelyn rambled still shaking with her words.

Richie hugged her tight, "Don't worry, I'm here now. I always will be".

They stayed in that position till Evelyn had calmed down.

Richie didn't know why he didn't want to let go of her.

They pulled away with Richie with a tint of redness across his cheeks which was oblivious to Evelyn.

Richie takes her hand and leads her to a spot.

They sit down as Evelyn tells Richie the events that had happened.

Richie wanted to believe her but the events sounded so unrealistic.

Still Richie knew Evelyn would never lie and she still had scratches and blood on her shoes to back up her story.

Richie didn't know what to believe, but he wished he had been there for her.

Evelyn could tell Richie didn't fully believe her, this made her frustrated.

Richie made her promise he wouldn't tell anyone the events that happened to her.

"Now, stop crying. It's makes you look more stupid than usual", Richie jokes.
"Says you", Evelyn rolls her eyes at him.

"Hey Eve, if it makes you feel better. I'll buy us some food to eat?", Richie says after hearing her stomach grumble.

Evelyn blushed in embarrassment.

Richie laughed at her.

"Richie, you don't need to buy me anything", Evelyn says.

"Eve, I insist. Besides, it will be a thank you from when you stood up for me against the Bowers gang", Richie says with a cheesy smile.

Evelyn agreed, they both walk to the fast food, Evelyn only gets a burger, the memory of the clown wouldn't leave her head even how much she tried to forget.

Could it all be in her head, or was it real?
