Evelyn was in her room, she was busy drawing.
Her parents had left in the morning, and her maid was still not back so she was left alone.
She couldn't help wonder if the clown she had saw before was real.
She could still remember it smiling at her.
She shuddered and choose to believe it could all be just her imagination but at the same time it felt so real.
She then heard a noise downstairs, could her parents be home?
She went to check but as she walked down she felt as she was being watched.
When she arrived, she their was no one down stairs.
She turned to look and saw a red balloon floating, Evelyn was confused.
She choose to follow the balloon but and she could her mothers voice when she arrived to the stairs she saw her mother staring at her, "Mom?", she whispers.
"My dear, Evelyn. I am very disappointed with you", Her mothers voice sounded eerie.
"You know, even how hard you try. You will never be good enough", Mom.
"Mom what are you talking about", Evelyn could feel her voice shaking.
"You fear of letting people down and making mistakes, all you do is let people down, you're just a disappointed".
"That's not true", Evelyn was near the verge of tears as her body was now shaking.
Her mothers head turns to her and she realizes that wasn't her mother.
The creature lashes towards her as Evelyn runs to her room, closing the door just in time.
She takes a deep breath relaxing a little.
When she turns around she sees the same red balloon in front of her.
The balloon suddenly pops, giving her a fright when she sees the same clown in front of her.
"Hello, Eve. Where the fun, will never end", the clown says in a dark voice.
When Evelyn thinks its all over, she has a memory of her swimming with her friends in the quarry.
She looks around her to see a hockey stick under her desk she picks it up with her foot. Swinging it with her hands it as the clown lashes at her, with all her might she hits it hard in the head.
The Clown yells in pain and with out thinking she opens the window of her bedroom and jumps out the window.
She mentally scowls herself for doing such a reckless act but then again it was her only option.
She tumbled down the roof earning scratches over her arms and legs.
She lands hard on the lawn outside her house, she screams out in pain, her leg had now been badly bruised. She once again was trying not to cry but couldn't help to let a few tears go done her cheeks.
Looked up her bedroom window to see the clown was gone.
"Evelyn, are you okay?", she heard a voice behind her.
It was her maid kneeling down to check on her bruise.
"What are you doing here? I thought your mother was sick!", Evelyn says frustrated.
"Mum, had gotten better, So I came to check up on you, what happened to you", Evelyn didn't even know how to explain herself.
She just pushed the maid and started to run, she wanted to find her friends.
