His idiot

There was someone Kim Rok Soo loved. Someone who made him smile and made him feel at home but that someone had long left his side. Like his two idiot hyungs, the man did not hesitate to save him.

Kim Rok Soo who could never forget, was tortured by the absence of his lover. Every night, the records would play. He would laugh at first but cry in the end. He missed him so so much. Every time he bled, he missed the voice that would nag at him, the hand that would ruffle his hair and the shoulder he would lean on.

Sometimes he wondered if he would still love the man if he went back in time and every time, the answer was the same. Even if he was tortured by his records and cried to sleep every night, he would pick that man and the time he spent with him.

Kim Rok Soo, now Cale Henituse, suppressed the records of his lover but sometimes, he would play them just to see the smile that made his heart flutter. Through the war, when things got too hard, he would play the records. This was his little secret, one he planned to take to his grave.

Or so he thought.

He never expected Choi Han to get Choi Jung Soo's memories or to see his lover again. The sealed god's test. He didn't know if it was an illusion but being in the arms of his lover sent him down a spiral of emotion he had suppressed. He cursed the gods for the cruel joke.

Just like when his selfish lover threw away his life, Cale's broken heart was held together by his family. He had Choi Jung Soo and Lee Soo Hyuk to keep him moving forward and now he had his children and family waiting to lead them. He would forever love the man who taught his heart to beat. He would live to carry on their story.
