Lisa drove to Manoban Enterprise Headquarters in Boston City. As he parked the car, he received a call from the company. He gestured to Jennie with his eyes to follow him as he answered the call.
After a while, the elevator reached the 18th floor.
*Ding!*
As the door opened, three to five Manoban Enterprise's executives and senior technical staff stood outside. When they saw Lisa, they nodded cautiously and respectfully to him, "President Manoban."
Lisa's eyes were filled with calmness and seriousness. "Where are they?"
"Still in the lounge."
"Send them to the conference room."
With that said, he took the contract from the temporary assistant and walked into the conference room. Although he was flipping the document, he still paid close attention to Jennie.
Jennie was not a child that he had to worry about at all times. She greeted the people who were looking at her politely while following Lisa from behind.
His subordinate had caused some trouble and Lisa had to come to resolve it personally. Jennie didn't say anything as she followed him into the conference room.
The so-called SAIC company was one of the top ten software development companies in the United States. The software for the new projects required by Manoban Enterprise conflicted with the software of the other party's company, and there was also a funding problem in the other party's company, including a trust crisis. Vice President Wei followed Lisa's instructions and refused to cooperate with SAIC this time, resulting in a group of people disagreeing with his decision.
It was no wonder that the usually emotionless Lisa would be so furious. These senior executives had indeed done it for personal interest and neglected the company's reputation and performance. They even dared to make fun of Lisa.
This kind of situation was something that could only be solved with his arrival.
"President Manoban, this is a temporary contract regulation. 70% of the benefits are on Manoban Enterprise's side. It will benefit us greatly and it will do us no harm!"
"That's right, President Manoban, you said that Vice-President Wei just listened to your order, that's why he decisively refused the company's invitation, but SAIC is our old partner after all. Now that the company is in a crisis, if we don't help them, we shouldn't add insult to injury. Our collaboration with them can also save their company from this crisis, so this is a win-win situation."
A few senior executives still followed closely behind Lisa, trying to persuade him. However, Lisa remained silent, calmly looking at the contract in his hand. Finally, with a frown, he turned around and coldly looked at the nagging executive. They obediently shut their mouth.
After a while, Vice President Wei and several other company executives walked into the conference room. Jennie might be considered quite accomplished in the media industry, but there was a huge gap between them, and she didn't really understand how they work. She just sat on the couch next to the window and silently stared at Lisa's figure.
Like she heard from others, Lisa was very serious about his work. His face was serious, his attitude was indifferent and calm. His speech and behavior were perfect but also very reasonable.
While this problem occurred due to Manoban Enterprise's executive, Lisa was actually the real owner of this company. Therefore, other than debating based on theory, the SAIC people could not find another way.
However, even though Lisa has returned to China, everyone knows that the influence he left on the American industry was enormous.
On such an important occasion, the content of the conversation was rather serious and heavy. Sometimes Lisa would occasionally have a humorous sentence or two to ease the atmosphere.
Jennie didn't know much about these things. She wasn't an omniscient person, so how could she understand it just by listening to it?
After an unknown period of time, Jennie suddenly fell asleep. She suddenly woke up, only to realize that she was sleeping on the conference room couch with a coat covering her body.
She rarely sleeps like this and she was not used to it. She stretched her body and her action caused her to fall off the couch, onto the carpet.
Then, she was stunned for a moment. Sensing the gaze from the other side, Jennie immediately turned her head, only to see that everyone in the conference room was gaping at her.
Jennie stiffened and laughed awkwardly. She stood up and patted her butt. She placed Lisa's coat, which had slipped off her body, on the couch and cleared her throat. "Hehe...Well said, President Manoban."
Jennie was used to calling Lisa, President Manoban in front of outsiders. As for Lisa, he felt awkward because he wasn't used to it. Anyways, everyone sitting around knew Lisa's identity in the country.
She could vaguely see the corners of some executives' mouths twitching.
Jennie continued to sit there with a straight face, ignoring the various gazes of the crowd as she waited for the meeting to end.
At this moment, Lisa smiled faintly as he closed the contract in his hands. He then said softly, "Everyone, please excuse me. My wife is being naughty again."
The atmosphere in the conference room continued to be at ease. "So it turns out that Madam Manoban is such a mischievous woman."
Lisa continued to laugh. "She just admires me too much and wants to attract everyone's attention."
Everyone nodded their heads. "President Manoban, it's a good thing that you have such a straightforward wife."
"That's right. It's better for women to be cute. They won't have many hobbies and will only focus on their husbands."
Lisa smiled without saying a word.
On the other hand, Jennie's eyelids twitched.
Although there were private rooms in Manoban Enterprise and Jennie could use them, Lisa still solves the problem quickly. After ordering his employees to go home, he directly took his "pure and cute" wife back to the sanatorium.
That night, Jennie felt very embarrassed. She accidentally caused a commotion in such a serious meeting.

The problem of bringing Lee Young-ae home was not as easy as she had hoped, but Lisa always told her not to worry.
Actually, it was not impossible to bring Lee Young-ae home. It was just that what should be done had to be done secretly as not to alert Old Man Manoban, who was far away in China.
Even Goong Min didn't know about any of this.
Goong Min had to complete his work abroad in these past few days. Once it done, they had to return to H City and their return could not be delayed even one day.
The day before they returned home, Goong Min still could not find an opportunity to have a good conversation with Lee Young-ae. Since she was injured a few days ago and woke up, she was more afraid of him.
Only Jennie could approach her, thus making everyone curious, and even Lisa found this very strange.
Time and time again, they called the sanitarium's director and asked about Lee Young-ae's current condition. No one knows what he said, but Lisa's plans were interrupted one by one.
There were more obstacles in his plan to bring Lee Young-ae home. Although Lisa didn't show any change in his expression, Jennie could feel there was a lot of pressure on him.
What was this all about?
Why couldn't Lee Young-ae leave this place?
