JooE clenched her fists and glared at Jennie as if she had seen a ghost.

Jennie smirked. "We have lived together in the Kim Family for thirteen years. Do not think that I don't understand your personality. You really want to kneel and beg Lisa and me to let you go, but because of your arrogant attitude and your Kim Family's background, you don't want to bow your head. So here you are, waiting for me, Jennie, to be softhearted."

"JooE, I also want to tell you." Jennie was almost lying on the table, getting closer and closer to her. Lisa, who was not far away, could hear her say, "There will always be retribution for good and evil! It's not that we don't want to report, it's not time yet!"

JooE raised her hand to slap Jennie's face. Jennie had long watched her actions. She quickly pressed her hand down and slapped her face. She didn't have to pretend to be weak in front of Lisa or be nice.

The moment the slap landed on her face, JooE screamed loudly. In the blink of an eye, she went crazy and wanted to rip Jennie's face.

Although Jennie's strength was not as strong as hers, at least JooE was restrained by a handcuff, so she easily held her hand and looked into her eyes, which were full of soaring hatred. "This slap is in return for the insults and humiliation I had suffered from you for decades in the Kim Family! It's already very convenient for you! Don't be so shameless!"

Suddenly, the aura from JooE's entire body dropped. She shifted her gaze and looked at Lisa, who was watching silently next to Jennie.

Tears gradually appeared in her eyes. "Brother Lisa, do you really believe what she's saying? Have you ever thought about why I hate her so much? Actually, my health wasn't good when I was young, so you know that I wouldn't have the strength to bully her. It's because she has bullied me since I was young that I bear a grudge and look for an opportunity to take revenge on her! Jennie is a snake, so don't be fooled by her!"

JooE immediately shifted her gaze back at Jennie and cursed in a spitting tone, "Hypocrite! Jennie, you are a hypocrite! You can fool Lisa for a while, but you can't fool him for the rest of your life!"

Jennie was so angry that she laughed. She suddenly let go of JooE's hand and turned to look at Lisa. He sat quietly next to her. Obviously, he didn't suspect her because of the last few words from JooE.

Lisa's trust in her from the beginning made her speechless, but in the end, she couldn't help but ask softly, "Lisa, do you believe her?"

Lisa smiled gently. "I believe you."

Jennie immediately smiled, but JooE sneered, "Big Brother Lisa, you will believe me sooner or later. You won't be so heartless, right? Why else would you let Nancy go? You know that Nancy was involved in that matter too, but you let her go, and in fact, you only come here to let Jennie have a look at me before you let me go. I was so attached to you when I was young, and I always called you Big Brother Lisa. You won't be so heartless until you forget our relationship as cousins, are you?"

At this moment, JooE narrowed her eyes and looked at Jennie coldly. "Jennie! Let's see who will laugh at the end! Sooner or later, there will come a day when you won't even be able to cry!"

When JooE said this, her expression was so cruel that Jennie had to turn around and look at her deeply.

Lisa frowned. "Nancy may not be the main culprit, but grandfather had locked her in her room and let her think for a long time. If she still doesn't fully reflect on her mistakes like you, don't worry; sooner or later, she will reunite with you here!"

JooE didn't say anything. She just looked at Jennie coldly.

Jennie knew that even though JooE was cruel, she never looked at her with a strong intention of killing in her eyes.

Jennie looked at her expression carefully and said, "JooE, don't let yourself get to the point where it is too late to regret! I sincerely remind you based on the relationship we share!"

JooE remained silent while she looked down. When the visiting time was over, the two female prison guards came in to take her away. JooE suddenly turned her head and stared at Jennie with an evil expression. Suddenly, with a cold smile, she turned and walked away under the scolding of the two female prison guards.

When they left G City's Public Safety Bureau, Jennie's heart finally calmed down. When someone was in a state of despair, they would definitely have a creepy expression on their face like JooE.

She couldn't help but sigh. "JooE and Chaerin are both great liars. I can't help but admire them. Their faces are even thicker than the Great Wall of China, and they can speak up any kind of defense."

Lisa looked at her with a non-smiling smile and said, "Everyone's trust in them is gone. Even if they keep singing, just think of it like you and I are watching the show."

Jennie rolled her eyes. "Who likes to watch them singing, I've been watching them for 13 years now. In fact, if they didn't sing that well, Hae-jin would have known a lot about me when I was young. You were also there when that happened. He was confused. If he really cared about his daughter, he would have realized this earlier."

Lisa smiled and suddenly pulled her into his arms. Jennie patted his chest in shock. "What are you doing? This is the front door of the Public Security Bureau."

Just after she said that, Jennie realized that someone's flower pot had fallen from the window and landed in the place behind her.

With a pale face, she looked up at Lisa, only to see him pat her on the shoulder with a gentle smile, as if he was comforting her.

"People often walk high in the sky, and when the things they see become more complicated, their minds become clearer." Lisa's words seemed to have some profound meaning behind them.

Hearing his words, Jennie immediately hit him on the shoulder and said, "So you're saying that I'm used to walking at a low place? Are you trying to make fun of me?"

Lisa smiled and hugged her closer. "No. My wife is always clear-headed and wise. She knows when to be gentle and when not to bow her head."

Jennie was stunned for a long time before she suddenly leaned into his embrace and said in a nasal voice that gradually grew stronger, "Lisa, thank you for trusting me the entire time."

"This is the most basic thing of love." He gently patted her shoulder, and the warm feeling in his embrace filled her stomach.
