Ink's pov.
It startled me a little bit when I heard it. And then, I opened the door and ran outside. "Wait!" said the person that was in the miracle station with an outstretched arm. When I was a good enough distance away from the shelter, I hid in a dark space in the corner of the room. A few minutes passed and I heard the door knob turning from the front of the room.
The figure shuffled quickly to the other side of the room without making much noise. It was looking for something. I leaned in, to get a closer look. It had humanoid features, closer to a human than a cartoon. It didn't look like it was trying to hurt me, but I should't stay here much longer then I needed to. 'I need to get out and get back to bendy.' I thought as I went back to the problem at hand.
Once they had their back turned, I made a run for it. At least I tried to. I was sent back into the wall, with a thud. I fell on my bottom, staying in that position to breathe a bit. Gotta love cartoon logic. It had knocked the wind out of me. I sat there for a while to catch my breath, but the person hadn't seem to move.
'Maybe they haven't noticed I was here yet?' I thought. 'How about a distraction?' I looked around, and found a book. 'This will get their attention.' I threw the book to a corner that was opposite of me. I watched, hoping that they would take the bait. They turned towards where I put the book, but he just stayed there.
'Well, this is gonna be a problem.' The person kept looking around except this time he stayed in his spot. After a long time, the person finally got up. In which he lifted his foot. I took that as an opportunity to make a run for it. I ran by, startling the creature and was out the door. I kept going with caution, losing the creature in the process. Even more so, when I hadn't seen any angels, since my last enco.
'Maybe, they left ?' I asked myself. It was fishy but I decided not to think about it, since Bendy has been waiting for me. Soon enough I got out of the maze with no problems. I walked back to the place I left Bendy at but he wasn't there. I looked around but I just couldn't seem to find him.
Just when I was going to give up searching, I heard a splash. Thinking it was Bendy, I ran towards the direction of the sound. As I got closer the sound stopped. I slowed down a bit, just in case the person that made the noise isn't Bendy and is actually an angel.
Bendy's pov.
I waited and waited for Ink to come back. Waited until I got bored at least. So I walked around near Alice's elevator. While I was looking at some words on the wall, something hit me. I looked in that direction and saw no one there. I focused my attention back to the wall. That's when I noticed my ink. It was melting off.
I panicked, hastely trying to stay in my ink form. Soon I was reverted back into my original form. I tried to turn back but like Ink, I couldn't. After finally calming down I thought, 'Well at least I still have my hat!', happy that it didn't melt away. 'It'll probably be safer in the maze than here.' I walked into the maze. I made multiple turns trying to avoid angels, looking for Ink.
After some time the angels left, making the maze more navigable. While walking I ended up bumping into a shelf. And all the stuff in it fell down, including the shelf itself. 'So much for being quiet.' I thought to myself. Once I finished dusting myself off, I started pushing the shelf back up.
Once that was done, I put the things that fell back where they were. "Bendy!?" I turned my head towards the sound. It was Ink. "What are you doing here! I was looking all over for you!" "You were taking too long!" I told him. "Ok then, why aren't you in your 'ink demon' form?" He asks.
"The same thing that happened to you, happened to me." "Great. Now how are we supposed to get back, we can't make an ink portal without our ink demon forms!" "Calm down! We can just walk back to the elevator that we were in when we first went." "Ok..."
*Meanwhile*
Henry's pov.
While we were sitting, Wally asked, "What was that back there?" "I don't really know. All I can remember is the ink demon turning into his cartoon self, and a person's voice. Don't know whose it is though." "Really? Are you sure?" "Yeah?" "Sorry, it's just that I haven't heard of Ink turning into his cartoon form before."
"I think he has been doing that for a while, just not outside, where everyone can see." "It wasn't natural. The way he turned back. He practically just turned into an ink puddle and ran away!" "Well, if anything I wouldn't know if it was normal or not, because I'm not normal to begin with." "Would changing forms be considered 'normal' to you?"
Then Wally put his head on his hands for a while before saying, "Not really. Angels and demons can hide their wings and tails so they don't get in the way. It's not the same, but it's the closest I've seen." "Wait! All demons and angels have wings and tails?!"
"Yes, but angels only have their wings. While demons have their tails. And only the leaders and a few others have both." "Don't Bendy and Ink have them?" "Probably?" He shrugged. "...Wally?" I asked with a hint nervousness in my tone. "Yes?" "Before we left the miracle station, I heard a voice." "What did it say?" Wally asks.
"It said, 'to come out'. And by then, Ink had already le-" I was cut off by the sound of the lights shutting down. It was pitch black. But there was one thing illuminating the darkness, a pair of bright yellow eyes with the usual black colored pie cut eyes as pupils.
