Ink's pov.
When I came to, I was hit with a flash of light. It took a few minutes to get used to the brightness. I looked around to find out that I was trapped behind bars and with no way out. Then, I recalled what happened before I got here. 'Bendy!' I searched for him and saw him sitting in the cell beside mine. "Bendy!" I said while trying not to alert the other angels. He stirred up a bit but didn't wake up.
I called him a few more times before he finally woke up. "Ink?" He asked softly, trying to shake off his sleep. When he was fully adjusted, his gaze wandered around. After he drank it all in, he asked, "Where are we?" "Alice brought us to some place she called the 'Recreation' room. But, it seems like some glorified dungeon." "Do you think there's a way out? I don't want to become a part of one of Alice's projects."
"I haven't found one yet. I'm trying to remember if she might've said something that could hint at what she's planning." I looked to the side to find a key opposite me, just outside my cell. "Did you find something?" "Yeah, I'm going to get a closer look," I said as I quickly moved toward it. Just as I was about to grab it, an angel took it.
She looked familiar. I think her name was Althea. Or... Athena? Anyways, she took the key. "Heheheh, whoops! Sorry 'bout that." She said as she put it in her pocket, sheepishly rubbing the back of her head. I moved back slightly to increase the distance between us.
As I was moving my hand away, she grabbed it. "Now, I can't have you escaping. Alice would surely have my head if she found out you demons got out! I'll make sure you can't do that again!" When I finally got my hand out, I was thrown back. "Ink!" I looked towards Bendy. I hit the wall with a grunt. As I looked up, I glared at the angel in front of me.
I moved to get up, but something was holding my wrists. I realized I was chained. I hissed in pain as it started to burn. So, I stopped tugging on them, and the burning sensation instantly washed away "There isn't much you can do, sweetie. Try as you might, but it's really hard to break those things." "Oh, wouldn't you know?" I spat. "I do! Tested them out myself!"
The response slightly threw me off, but I'm determined to get out. "Who are you?" I asked. "I don't think it matters to you who I am since I hardly believe you're going to see me again. Plus, I would hate to be late for my next assignment, so I'm gonna have to cut this conversation short. Bye!" She waved as she left. That is one strange angel, sadly, I didn't get any answer as to why we're here.
"Ink? Are you okay?" Bendy asked. I looked at him and said, "As good as you can be when chained to the wall. Keep searching the place, and maybe you'll find something that could get us out." "Alright, but are you sure? It looked like it hurt." "Don't worry about me, I'm fine." He stared at me with a worried expression before he went to find a way out. I sighed. 'Bendy worries too much.' I followed the chains to the wall, looking for ways to get out of them.
Henry's pov.
We eventually made it back to the room where we last saw the 'Mistress.' We knocked, alerting the bodyguard that we were back. We saw the 'Mistress' standing at the front of the room as we went inside. It seemed like she never even left, which was probably true. "Did you bring them?" She asked. We brought the items we were carrying and gave them to the bodyguard.
"Excellent! Now, to carry out my part of our agreement." She signaled to the bodyguard to leave the room. They came back with Boris, hands tied behind him. "Untie him." Once he was freed, he rushed to hide behind us. "That's all, you are free to go now." She said as the bodyguard opened the door.
We left as quickly as we could so we didn't have to encounter that again. After walking for some time, we ended up in level P. Soon, TV static could be heard from above. It was soon followed by a voice, "Oh, Henry!" I stopped, my arm stopping the others from continuing. "How nice of you to stop by! And just in time, too! I have another favor to ask of you." I looked at the ceiling in confusion.
'She doesn't usually ask for favors outside the third chapter. Did something happen?' She must've seen my confusion. "Don't worry, it isn't anything hard! I just need you to come back to my place. I'll tell you the rest when you get here." She finished with the click of whatever sound system this building had. I was skeptical but made my way towards Alice's place.
"Wait!" Wally grabbed my shoulder, pulling me back. I look back at him, "What if it's a trap?" "I'm more worried about what she'd do if we didn't go." "What if she goes after Boris again?!" He lets go of my shoulder and points to Boris, who is looking at one of the valve cores. "I'll get a Gent pipe, and we'll keep him close." He gives off a sigh as he relents.
"Alright," he says as he makes a pipe materialize with ink. I stood shocked. "What?" Wally asks, shaking me out of stupor. "Since when could you do that? I haven't seen you do that before." "I've done this before. You probably weren't paying attention," he explained. Boris puts his hand on both of us. We both look at Boris, who gestures to the open hallway. "Boris is right, we should start going."
I'm back! I've been working on school for the past few months and was finally able to sit down and write a new chapter during Christmas break. I hope you guys enjoy it. Merry Christmas or have a nice day!
