Just as planned, the human almost jumped out of the wheelchair and paced over to the elevator doors while Alphys carefully watched her movements for any lasting injuries that may affect the plan. Unfortunately for both of them, while her legs seemed to be stronger than before, they still hadn't walked for almost 34 hours. Meaning she almost had to limp over to the doors. Alphys felt her pulse race through her chest as she expected any second for one of the guards to see, or worse for Toriel to notice. It was horrifying to think of that woman stalking towards the human, ready to snap her legs herself with a simple twist of her paws.

Locking eyes with the human woman, Alphys nodded and violently pushed the wheelchair a few yards away. The clatter of metal hitting the floor was enough time for Frisk to slip inside the elevator. Now came the tricky part. With perfect timing Alphys pressed a button on her electrical home's remote, having the exit door swing open and close again within a few seconds. The guards jumped and stared at the door and then the chair, then back at Alphys. Despite their expression blocking helmets, she knew how alert and confused they had to have been. But she cut them both off from saying anything before screeching in alarm.

"M-M-MRS DREEMUR! TH-THE HUMAN! SHE RAN OFF!"

As soon as she said this the Donna turned white with fear, or... as white as she could with all the fur. But it lasted mere seconds before blatant rage replaced that terror. It was almost surprising to see such a tall woman sprint for the door.

"GUARDS. AFTER HER. NOW."

Her voice boomed with such fury the guards only nodded quickly and ran through the door. Good. Very good. This was perfect. Frisk had all the time she needed now to hide. But that didn't fix the fact Alphys' entire body was trembling with dread. That fear was justified when Toriel sent her a nasty snarl.

"This is the last time I trust you with anything Alphys. Be grateful I haven't killed you. Yet."

She was. She was incredibly grateful. As Toriel finally left and stalked through the doors to follow the guards, there was a long moment of silence.

"A-alphys?... are you going to be okay...?"

She wasn't. She very much wasn't. All she could do was turn to Undyne, helplessly pleading for comfort as hot tears streamed down her face, the impact of the fear hitting her hard. She fell to floor and began sobbing. Undyne followed her, wrapping her strong safe arms around her and quietly whispering reassurances to her.

"I know... I won't let her talk to you like that again... but we still have a job to do..."

Alphys hiccuped and sniffed, rubbing her face and wiping her glasses, taking deep breaths to calm a shaking heart. At least she was given the chance to recover from that. She only prayed that Frisk wouldn't get hurt down there...

Frisk was clutching her clothes in anticipation. Glaring at the doors and waiting for them to be pulled open by a very angry goat. But somehow... they stayed closed. She glanced at the set of rectangular buttons behind her, all of their symbols rubbed off with use. The elevator was silent as she prepared for it to move...
