I could hear an oh so familiar voice in my head telling me to get my ass of the floor and run, no matter how difficult that may be,just run.
And so I did. I ran for the nearest exit, almost passing it... his hoodie. That guy must've thrown it away so he wouldn't get caught. I pick it up and quickly throw it on. I continue speeding past all the police within seconds. I ran and ran til I reached the spot me and Benji used to visit everyday after school since we were kids.
It was this bench in the woods behind my house with a front row seat to the prettiest view known to everything with a pulse.

We would just sit there for hours talking, studying and everything in between. There would be times I'd try to convince him to come and fly with me but he would proceed to name out all the possible ways he could die so that was a no.
I sat down, glancing over to the left to see empty space where the one and only Benji Young used to spend each day,but this time it was just some pieces wood stuck together made for anyone to use. It's weird- the person who gave me the greatest memories is now rapidly becoming a memory himself.
I look out and admire the view. It looked the same as it always had but it just didn't feel the same without him beside me.
He was my best friend...my home.
I had fallen asleep due to all the running and y'know other stuff but I was woken up by my phone ringing. I wasn't quick enough to answer so it stopped calling. I look at my LockScreen to spot 18 miss calls and 28 unread messages! I quickly type in my password and click into the group chat .
