The past continuation.....

"I.. I'll talk to them. I'll send them a letter and see if they are willing to help us" you spoke

"No need, write a letter threatening them that we can harm their princess," Namjoon stated to his minister.

"My lord, would you do that? W-would you harm me?" You were shocked.

"Ohh my queen, I can do anything to save my Kingdom since we don't have any other choice" Namjoon smirked.

You froze in your spot, listening to his response. All the court officials were whispering to themselves seeing you two.

"I am your wife" you stated.

"As a princess, you should've already known that the king's first priority is his kingdom" Namjoon replied

"I am the mother of your children" you raised your voice.

"There are many princes and princesses in this world who lost their mother," Namjoon shrugged.

You didn't say anything further. You already knew that Namjoon wouldn't think twice before ending your life.

You also knew that your mother kingdom would not help you, since you figured out why they didn't want to send help to Goryeo. And hence, you became helpless.

You walked out of the courtroom to your kids. You heard Taehyung yelling at Namjoon but you couldn't care less. You reached the room where Areum was playing with the kids.

"Aigoo my angels...what are you both doing?" You crouched down and sat beside them.

"Eomma, I made this paper boat" Jae hee showed you her boat.

You smiled, hiding the pain you held in. Tears were threatening to fall down but you held them well.

You continued playing with the twins until they had their lunch and went to sleep. Once they were asleep, you walked to your room and locked up yourself.

You cried insanely. No matter what, your heart didn't stop paining. The love you had for Namjoon resulted in you losing your life any second now.

You heard the letter was sent to Silla, threatening your life. It would take only a day to get a reply. So you only had this day.

You didn't know what to do. It's not like you can run away, cause this is your kingdom. And what would people think of you? You didn't want to die with a bad name.

And you can't even convince Namjoon. It's not like he likes you and yet he prioritise his kingdom. He hates you from the start. He only used you for his own benefits. So as the work is done now, he might kill you without any hesitation.

Anyone, not even Taehyung can stop Namjoon since he is the King. You didn't want to take Taehyung's help. He just came back to his kingdom. You didn't want him to get on the king's bad side.

You sighed, realising that this is the end of your life now. The afternoon passed to evening and the kids started playing and goofing around. You just watched them with adoration.

Areum noticed your gloomy face. She understood something bad happened and decided to ask you tonight.

You saw Taehyung running towards you. He sat on the chair beside you.

"I've been trying to talk with you and you locked yourself out," Taehyung stated.

"Why? You wanted to say goodbyes before I die?" You asked him.
