Taehyung didn't waste any time after he got the call from Yoongi. He quickly sent the cafe address to Yoongi.

Taehyung made a call to you and told you that he might be there by dinner which you didn't mind and asked him to bring

"Hyung, how have you been?" Taehyung asked Yoongi.

"Good. What about you and Y/n?" Yoongi asked.

"I'm fine and she is doing good." Taehyung smiled.

They ordered the food and talked about Taehyung's work. Also, Yoongi asked about your work and life and Taehyung was happy to mention everything about you.

When the order came, they started eating food and having small talks about work and life.

Yoongi continued with each and every topic that came to his mind until he was ready to have the real chat with Taehyung. The reason he wanted to meet Taehyung.

"Taehyung ah, there is something you need to know" Yoongi stated.

"What is it, hyung?"

"I....I'm leaving soon" Yoongi stated

"What? What do you mean....

"My punishment is over now. I got a letter yesterday that I need to depart within a week" Yoongi stated.

Taehyung was shocked to hear this. This was the very moment you dreaded the most. The departure of your best friend.

"H-Hyung....You...you can't leave us like this" Tae was barely able to let his words out.

"I'm sorry. I can't do anything about this. I'm not a human" Yoongi Apologized.

"Did you say this to Y/n?" Taehyung asked Yoongi.

"I will...I'll meet her tomorrow and tell her. Before that, I wanted to talk with you" Yoongi replied.

Taehyung became silent. He wasn't ready to leave his friend and his guide. Though they were only friends for three years, Taehyung learned a lot from Yoongi.

Yoongi always supported their love and guided Taehyung whenever Taehyung felt anything wrong. Also, he is your best friend.

The bond between you and Yoongi can't be conveyed through words. 300 years of friendship and surely, you won't be able to take the fact that he'll be leaving soon.

Yoongi held Taehyung's hands which made Taehyung's head shoot up to look at the elder one.

"You know why I died?" Yoongi asked him.

"No"

"Reapers are made to know the value of life and value of loved ones" Yoongi stated.

"I killed myself due to debts. I didn't think about my wife and my one and only daughter and acted so selfish. And that's the reason why I turned into a reaper" Yoongi continued.

"That's.... unimaginable" Taehyung mumbled.

"Since I understood the value of life and things, my punishment is completed" Yoongi smiled.

"What did you feel when you became a reaper?" Taehyung asked Yoongi.

"At that time, either reapers or angels don't remember their past. They think they were created for this and they do their job" Yoongi stated.

"Then how do you know about your past now?" Taehyung asked.

"The almighty up there also gives some feelings to us. They make us especially too sensitive to emotions. So we understand what it's like to die, to feel hurt, and everything. After we get to know and realize, they'll make us remember our past and repent of it" Yoongi explained.
