Part 24

You opened your eyes slowly, very slowly since you experienced light days ago. You started looking around and spotted Yoongi and Jungkook and Taehyung. You smiled.

"Water...." You whispered.

Jungkook ran outside and brought a water jug with glass. He filled the glass while Taehyung made you sit up and lean on him.

You drank the water so quickly since you were so thirsty. After drinking the whole thing, you sighed and gave the glass to Jungkook.

Jungkook came and knelt in front of you. Upon seeing him tear up, you couldn't care less and asked him to hug you.

"N-Naeuri...do you know how worried we were?" Jungkook cried.

"I-I'm sorry. I was too weak to handle the pain" you mumbled.

"Don't say that. You did so well" Yoongi assured you

He released the hug and examined your face and arms. Your face was quite pale and your body was so weak. You weren't even able to raise your hand to pat Jungkook's hair.

"How are you feeling now? And what was that light?" Jungkook was dumbfounded.

"Light?" You were confused.

"A light emitted from your heart. And you opened your eyes after it disappeared" Yoongi stated.

Your eyes widened hearing that. You gave out a smile upon hearing it.

"I've got my human form back" you stated.

"Really?" Yoongi was shocked.

"Yes...Guess Jin told you that it's my final stage" You asked the three.

"Yes," Jungkook replied.

"Ahh...Thank God" Yoongi let out a huge sigh.

Jungkook did a mini dance and was giggling in happiness. Yoongi smiled and held your hand.

"Guess I'm the only one abnormal here" Yoongi pouted.

"Dork. You are also abnormal even if you weren't a reaper" You chuckled.

"And you can't carry me anymore. I'll be the one carrying you" Jungkook squealed.

"Aish....stop mocking me cause I lost my powers" you pouted.

"It's for the good. Don't worry, I have the powers" Yoongi winked.

You shook your head smiling at their tactics. All this time, Taehyung was so quiet. He did nothing but hold you.

Yoongi and Jungkook observed Taehyung's silence and they both looked at each other and nodded their heads, having some telepathic conversation.

"Ahh Y/n, you look so weak. We'll prepare food" Yoongi stated.

You nodded and they both left the room. And now, you and Taehyung were the only people in the room.

You lifted your head and looked at him. He was avoiding your eye contact and looking elsewhere.

"Tae" you called him.

He made you sleep and got up from the bed but you held his hand to stop him. Even after you held his hand, he didn't turn to look at you.

"I have no energy left to pull you. So do me a favor and stay" You stated.

He slowly turned and sat beside you. He kept his head low, not able to look at you after leaving your side when you needed him the most.
