For once I'm posting this here first before ao3

Anyways... I'll be honest I think this was one of my favorite episodes to watch, maybe my 2nd fav. Originally it was my favorite, but I forgot about episode 5, which has Peli....

He stared at the door for a silent moment before quickly engaging the autopilot. They'd have to find a place to lay low for now, to hide out while they waited for all the tension to die down. If it ever did.

His hand slipped into his pocket and pulled out a necklace. His thumb gently brushed over the pendant, a copy of the signet on his pauldron. The Mandalorian looked at the door when he heard footsteps arrive and quickly stuffed the necklace back into his pocket just as the togruta walked in, the baby munching on something.

"Found him something!" She spoke cheerfully and sat down in her seat.

He nodded, "good." He glanced down at his pocket and shook away the thought. It could be done later. For now... they needed a sanctuary.

It just Zelona and the baby up in the cockpit. Din was downstair sleeping. After 2 days after straight flying and trying to find a planet to lie low on, she forced the man to sit down and rest. She knew he was tired, and the only thing he had to eat or drink in a while had been the caf she brought him earlier.

At first he fought her but then she threated to knock him out with her powers and he agreed, unaware she couldn't actually do that. No idea if the baby could, especially since odds were he lived with the Jedi before the Empire took over everything.

Speaking of the little guy, he somehow climbed up onto the console, looking around with his big eyes at all the shiny and lit up buttons. He got curious and pushed a green button, which caused the ship to rumble and the togruta quickly flipped the button back. "Hey, no touchy." She cooed, running a finger over his ear.

The baby looked her right in the eye and she narrowed her own when he glanced back at one of the buttons. "Don't..." While he stared at her, he ever so slowly reached for a switch behind him, then flicked it.

Zelna yelped when the ship suddenly shook, quickly hitting the switch off and grabbed the baby by the back of his hood, pulling him into her lap. "Alright then... no buttons for you." He cooed at her, grabbing onto her lekku- something she noticed he liked to do a lot.

The cockpit door slid open and she bit her lip before slowly engaging autopilot and turned to see her partner in the doorway. He stared at her, and then his helmet tipped to look at the baby in her lap, who giggled as he clung to the lekku. "What did it do?"

"He, thank you." She raised a brow at him and stood up, shifting her arms to hold the baby. "Kid just got curious, no harm." The Mandalorian sighed and brushed past her to sit down in his seat, taking control of the ship. She sat down in hers with the baby in her lap before whispering to the kid, "no more buttons."

Din looked over a few planets before one came up and he hummed in approval, waving her to come up and look at it. The name of the planet was Sorgan, according to the map. "You ever been there?" He tilted his helmet to look at Zelona.

"I've been to a lot of places," she started, searching her memory, but came up with nothing. "Can't say I have, and if I did I don't remember it. So we'll just go with no." She looked at the kid when she felt him nuzzling into her stomach, trying to wrap her lekku around him like a belt. "You think it's a good place?"
