Chapter 12

Richard grabbed her hand tight and took her to the nearest garden. Kyra requested 'please leave my hand. You're hurting me'. Richard furiously replied 'you're doing the same with me. We are already in a relationship. How could you do that to me? You lied and came here'. Kyra burst into tears and said 'we were in a relationship as I wanted to be with a person who understands me but I can't do it anymore. I can't hurt you anymore. Richard listen to me...you're a very nice guy but I have never seen you like that and from the first day of college I have been liking Samuel only. Hope you understand'. Richard emotionally replied 'it was my fault. I knew that you only liked him but still I was trying to come in between you guys'. Kyra held his hand and said humbly 'thanks for understanding'. He nodded and told her to go back.

Kyra couldn't believe that now she can be with Samuel as she was waiting for that from a very long time. She knocked on the door and it was open. She went inside and saw Samuel and Melissa hugging each other. She left from there without uttering a word.

After she left from there Samuel thanked Melissa. Melissa questioned him 'why are you doing this now?' He responded with a low pitch 'I don't want to ruin her relationship. She is at least happy now'. Melissa confusingly asked 'are you sure?' He didn't say anything and sat on the sofa while saying 'I don't want to discuss anything more now'.

The next day, he went to college and heard the news from Tori that Kyra left the college and is going to leave the city too. He was in a state of shock for a few minutes. After he came to his senses he asked her 'where did she go?' Tori replied 'she is moving to LA'. Samuel again questioned her about Kyra worriedly 'what about Richard then?' Tori replied with a weird tone 'dude, they have broken their relationship yesterday. You don't know?'

Samuel left from there in a hurry and went to the sports clubhouse. He furiously went to Richard and before Richard could say anything he punched him on the face by saying 'what have you done to her?' Richard aggressively punched him back and said 'I did nothing and you're the only one who hurt her always'. Samuel stopped and remembered about pretending to be with Melissa.

He apologized to Richard and thought of stopping her from going if possible. On the way, he asked Tori about Kyra's whereabout. She informed him 'Kyra may be traveling by bus'. He went to the bus stop and didn't find any bus there. Samuel was again disappointed because of himself as he couldn't confess his feelings to her.

The next day, there was news on every site about the bus accident. Samuel ignored the message and thought of focusing on his studies from now on.

He came back home from college and went to his room. Samuel lied on his bed to rest for sometime and saw his phone notification. He ignored the message as he was really depressed.

In the evening, he stood up from his bed and told himself 'I can't handle this anymore. I have to travel to LA to meet her'. He opened his laptop and checked for bus tickets to LA but nothing was available. He decided to call Tori to help him search Kyra's place. He checked the phone, there were numerous notifications of the bus accident but ignored the messages as he was really excited to meet Kyra. He didn't open Tori's message and called her. Tori said 'hello' from the other side with a depressing voice 'Samuel asked her 'what happened to you? Are you ill? Actually, I don't want to disturb you but just wanted your help to find Kyra's place'. She started crying on call. Samuel worriedly asked 'what's wrong with you Tori?' Tori requested him 'please check the messages I have sent you' and disconnected the call.

Samuel opened the message from Tori 'there was a disastrous picture of a bus side piece and news saying that half people died and some bodies are still missing as half part of the bus went down the river from the bridge. He scrolled down on the messages 'Kyra was traveling from this bus. I checked the bus no. and it was the same which Kyra had shared with me. Samuel I really don't want to break your heart but I think 'Kyra is no more with us'.
