Chapter Forty-Four

We made it to our destination around 4:45am then we had a 30 minute drive to our vacation house. Emily didn't want to get a place within Disney World because we like to do our own thing plus.. It's my birthday, I didn't want to be around a bunch of families while Emily is railing me into next week. We are going to have sex everyday that we are here. We've been so busy with school and work, we barley have time for each other.

We dragged ourselves into the house once we arrived to the big house Emily rented out. It was only us so I don't know why we needed this much space. We left our bags downstairs for now and made our way upstairs to the primary bedroom.

We stripped from our clothes and climbed into bed, meeting in the middle. Emily laid her head on my chest and wrapped her arms around me as she settled between my legs. I ran my fingers through her hair.

"God, I'm so tired." She said sighing once our bodies finally relaxed.

"I know, between the FBI, soccer, and now finals, I'll have gray hair before you know it!"

"My manager won't stop setting up meetings with different businesses to promote and sell the water at their establishments. Now coach Rossi wants us to practice 3 days a week instead of 2, and then finals. I literally never get to see you" I felt her squeeze me tighter.

"I know baby. It's like the universe is against us"

"Fuck the universe" I chuckle.

"But, you have me all to yourself for the next 5 days. We can do any and everything." She turns and looks up at me. I grab her face.

"Anything?"

"Anything" I say smiling, she smiles back.

"Well, what are we waiting? Might as well get started now"

We didn't wake up until 10 that morning. After our long day for my birthday, the early flight and then hours of us having sex. This day is going to drag but in the best way possible. I was so excited to finally go to Disney world. I've always dreamed of going. Especially seeing the Cinderella Castle, Emily was going to get me my first set of ears as soon as we got there. She said she found a special one on the website and called ahead for it.

We jumped into the shower to start our day with. Taking turns washing each other. After we got out, we did our hair and I did some light makeup. We went into the room and started getting ready. We were matching but nothing fancy. Just some dark wash jeans and a white t shirt with our Disney vans that I made her get us. I grabbed everything we needed and threw it into my backpack purse and we left. We climbed into our rental car and made our way towards Disney World.

"Hey, why are you bitting your nails? What's wrong?" I asked when I saw Emily's hand go to her mouth again.

"Oh, uh. Nothing." She answered. I eye her but don't say anything else and grab her hand, bringing it to my lap.

I was in awe when we finally walked into Disney. It felt so strange but in a good way. I held Emily's hand tightly as we made our way through the park to the Disney store. As we were walking, I saw someone that looked VERY familiar.

"Is that Tara?!" I asked Emily.

"Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention they were coming too. They got a last minute flight hence the big house" I looked at her strangely.

"Okay, we will find them later." I looked around at everything as we walked. We finally made it to the gift shop, we went inside and made our way to the counter.

"Hi, I have a package for Emily Prentiss"

"Oh yes ma'am, give me a moment" I looked around as we waited on the woman to get back. She finally returned with a box. "And there you are, enjoy" Emily grabbed the box and we made our way back outside. I looked to my left and saw the castle.

"Oh my god! The castle, come on" I grab Emily's hand, dragging her over to the castle, forgetting about the ears.

"Wait, you gotta put your ears on first"

"Oh yeah" I turn around and gasp when I look behind Emily. Our family and friends were standing there along with some of the Disney characters. I swallow hard looking at everyone.

"Here let me put them on you" I grab the box and she opens it. I lean my head down so she can slip them on. She turns the box around and I notice a mirror inside. I grab it and hold it up in front of me. Tears come to my eyes when I see what the ears say.

"Marry Me"

I put the mirror down and notice Emily on one knee in front of me. Someone comes over and grabs the box from me. I look down at her with tears running down my face. Thank God for water proof makeup.

"May 1st. That's when I knew. I saw you and life clicked. You made me feel so comfortable before and after you knew who I was. You cared for me and you loved me. You were willing to do long distance and I couldn't leave you, so I didn't. We've grown in the months since we met. We've already been through so much together and I wouldn't want that with anybody else. When I called your parents a few days ago asking for their blessings, they immediately said yes. I never felt more relived than I was then. I love you so much Jennifer. You complete and I can't and won't imagine life without you by my side."

She pulls a black box out of her pocket, flipping it around in her hands. She grabs my hands.

"The night before your birthday, Derek and I flew to New York to get this ring. I wasn't nervous, I wasn't scared, it felt like it was something that was meant to happen. So, here I am, Emily Prentiss asking Jennifer Jareau to marry me, to be my partner in crime forever, to love me until the end of time. So, what do you say? Will you marry me?"

"Of course I'll marry you!"

"Fuck yes!!" She stands up and pulls me into her arms, I wrap mine around her neck as she picks me up. I hear everyone celebrating behind us and fireworks going off from the castle. She pulls back and opens the box, pulling the ring out.

"Oh my God, it's beautiful" she grabs my left hand, sliding the ring on. "I love you so much"

"I love you too." She pulls me into a kiss, holding me tightly. I can't believe we are getting married!

AHHH, A WEDDING IS COMING STOP 😭 they're growing up so fast 😖

Ugh, an engagement like that is a dream of mine.
