"You know you look lovely today?" the girl sheepishly smiled, tucking her black long hair behind her ears.
"Only today?" the blonde boy chuckled a bit. His finger brushed her twinkie. Subtle.
They both sitting on the chrome rail at the school stadium. The stadium was almost empty now. Sun setting down and everything looked orange yellowish. It's hot but never chased away the two lovebirds.
"You're beautiful every single day. Eyes that caught my attention from the day I saw you walking across the field with that..." he pointed at the first aid kit that she held.
"That's my job, remember? I'm the Red Cross team," she said.
"Do you know when you look even more beautiful?" his hand slowly landed on the girl's hand, with wild eyes looking around.
"When?"
"When you kiss me," she frowned, grasping the idea.
"But... We never kiss." she grinned at him, awkward and slightly confused.
"Wanna try it?"
She's taken aback.
That's a serious demand.
She probably needs some time to think about it. It's her first kiss. She wanted to be special. Which means...
"I'm... I'm sorry, but let's wait until we got married? I mean, I love you but I think it's too soon..."
"It's fine. I'm just asking, maybe you had that thought. We've dated for almost two years now. Your friends, all of them had kissed their boyfriend. So, I don't wanna make you feel left out," said the boy. His eyes began darker.
"Ah, they might be quite open-minded. But, my dad used to warn me not to be like them. Besides, I'm not used to all that. Even dating too! If my parents knew, I would screw up for real," she pouted a bit.
"Hey, don't be upset! I can understand. Don't worry, okay? I can wait. You know that I love you. I'll do anything to conserve this relationship. As long as you remain with me forever. Okay?" they look at each other and exchanged smiles.
"Ah! Talking about dad! I need to go. It's late!" she quickly wore her shoes. The boy looked at her with disappointment.
"Can you stay for another few minutes?"
"I can't, sorry! Dad will surely kill me!"
"But, we just met for like an hour!"
"Sorry, baby! I need to go, or you won't see me for like.. a lifetime! See you next Monday okay? Promise!" she ran out, but later turned back and waved at him with a cheeky smile.
The boy waved back and held a huge sigh when the girl slowly vanished from his sight.
Then he rose his head above.
5th-row seat, just above his head.
Smirked.
