Voices could be heard faintly around me, but I was all too tired to open my eyes to see what was going on. I let myself drift inti the peaceful state of unconsciousness and the voices became quieter and softer.

My eyes opened to an unfamiliar place. I groaned at the throbbing pain emanating from my head, screaming for me to lie back down. I shrugged it off as I took in my surroundings.
Their was a twin sized bed (which I am sitting on) with a Star Wars printed comforter slightly folded here and there spread across it. I saw many empty Monster Energy cans scattered around the small room. Is this... Sam 's house?

As if on que, the ginger shuffled into the room with a bottle of water and a wash cloth. He looked shocked to see me awake and hugged me without a word. I have weird space issues, so I stiffened under his embrace, but slowly snaked my arms around his neck. I rested my head on his chest and took in his familiar sent. He always calms me down. When we were in elementary school, I got bullied a lot, and one of them started to hit me. He stepped in and beat the shit out of that brat and helped me to re nurse. Since then, we've been pretty close. He is one ofmy best friends.

"I was so worried," he mumbled into my hair. "Don't ever do that again. You could have died if you landed wrong." His grip became tighter and he began to sob.
"I'm sorry," I whispered in his ear. "I'm really really sorry."
