Jame's Point of View:
"No way you produce music?" James nodded his head as he took a sip of his drink "It's nothing that amazing I mean, we're still kinda small" James said shrugging his shoulders "Right so; I never even heard of Rare Americans before" James held his hand on his chest gesturing how to hurt he was "Ow that one hurt" "Alright I get it" Shay laughed at him; he felt this sense of comfort when speaking to her like there was no filter to what he could say.
"So hotshot what do you do?" James said smirking at Shay "I'm a pilot I drive a helicopter to save people's lives" James was taken aback by her reply, not expecting her to say that; Shay copied the same smirk he had on his face as Jame's jaw was dropped "You win, your job is so much cooler than mine" they both laughed.
The day passed by quickly as they continued their conversation, the sun had already begun to set and they lost track of time. James recommended they try the most recommended meal on the menu since neither one of them have ever been to this restaurant before. They enjoyed the silence they could sit in that didn't feel uncomfortable nor was it needed it was just something they both enjoyed.
"Hey is that a camera?" James said as he pointed to the man who was holding a camera recording his holiday as well as the view around them "Mind if I film my friend and I?" James was so enthusiastic he jumped out of his seat and grabbed the camera practically already recording Shay before he even asked. Luckily the man was old and didn't mind, he made a mental note to ask the man for the film later before they leave.
"Don't you dare!" Shay said as she covered her face "Don't you dare, take your hands away you're beautiful" A light pink hue had brushed across Jame's cheeks as well as Shay's. Shay removed her hands looking into the camera smiling sweetly into it before James showed himself one more time giving the camera back to the nice old man.
"Well aren't you friendly," Shay said in a more sarcastic tone James didn't respond he just shrugged his shoulders; "Is that your natural color?" James said pointing towards her hair "Yes it is" Shay said feeling her soft locks cascade down her shoulders James had the sudden urge to touch her hair and feel the soft content "You should take your hat off, the sun has long time gone down" "No it hasn't it's just setting" Shay smiled, James didn't say anything waiting in anticipation for her to remove her sun hat. Shay rolled her eyes before removing her hat and setting it aside on the table.
"May I ask a personal question?" James asked Shay nodded her head "What do you think of love?"; Shay thought about her answer "It doesn't have to be a long explanation" James assured her Shay waved her hand brushing what he said off "Love is like a business; it drives people insane" James smiled at her answer "That wasn't so bad" Shay smiled taking an unbothered sip of her beverage "How about you?" James too took time to answer his question not wanting it to sound too direct "Blind emotion leads to commotion but, part of me likes that game" Shay didn't say anything after he said that, instead she took some time to process what he had said before replying "I see"
The conversations went on to parents, siblings, likes, and dislikes even their future plans and goals for one day Jame's eyes met Shay's, her purple orbs made him feel at peace, like he could fall fast asleep staring at them, he's thoughts were cut off by the sudden sound of his phone's ringtone. Without hesitation, James declined the call he grew tired of seeing her name show up on his phone.
Camila
James could see the curiosity in Shay's eyes; he knew it interested her since they were getting to know each other but he didn't want to get into it; by now he knew Shay wasn't the type to pry. they knew their boundaries. He sighed before smiling again extending he's hand to shay "Come with me" Shay smiled at him taking his hand; he felt her hand warm-up in his.
The journey wasn't long at all, they walked to the beachside; he guided her towards the ocean. They stepped into the water feeling cold water brush and intertwine on their feet, James placed his hand on her back knowing she might get cold but their bodies provided enough heat on their own being inches away from each other.
James watched as she smiled laughing at the sensation and coldness enjoying every moment; James felt himself sigh heavily; not of anger or frustration but of release from all his trouble; it had gone away; she gave him exactly what he needed on this trip. Shay made eye contact with James; they locked eyes for a moment before their bodies spoke for them. Their bodies moved in sync holding each other and soon their lips made contact; they felt themselves melt in their embrace. No words. None needed to be said. They stayed like that for a while before Shay took his hand and lead the way to another location.
Her bedroom.
The way there was quiet, no words were uttered; her room was a single bedroom she shared with no one; no one but him. Now. James's eyes were everywhere but on hers. He was nervous she thought, she smiled sweetly at him seeing him change from bubbly to shy.
Not long after he's eyes met hers, he could tell she knew what she wanted and he did too; they let their emotions speak and utter words their mouths couldn't. James pulled her close kissing her soft lips knowing exactly where this would go and so did she.
Should we start loving; give this a try?
