Y/n's POV

As I walked in the entrance of the school, I was already greeted with my least favorite sound.

People.

The sound of people always made me cringe.

ESPECIALLY Tyler. God I hated that boy. If you would even consider him one..

I looked around for my best friends.

I saw Miriam so I quickly walked over. Just as I was about to reach Miriam, the person who literally made me feel the worst decided to come along.

He is friends with Mei, Miriam, Abby, and Priya, but he was always mean to me for no reason! Like, whatsoever.

His other friends are rude to me too! Once, I told my 'best friends' what's been happening, and they called me a liar!

Really? You won't believe me because Tyler likes 4-Town and I don't? That damaged my impression on them.

Priya was the only one who seemed to sorta believe it? Priya has always been a lot nicer and open to me.

I wasn't complaining at all.

She was the one who actually got me into the group.

But she was still friends with him. The literal bane of my existence.

Tyler.

I hated him but my friends loved him because he was a "4-townie"

I looked up to Tyler.

"What do you want.." I glared.

He put his hands up.

"Woah... Chillax."

"Could you please move?"
I asked.

"...No."

I groaned.

"Why not..?"

"I don't know, I like tormenting you."

I raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean by... Nevermind. I don't want to know." I said before trying to walk off.

He blocked me, not allowing me to move forward.

"You look worse then you did last year."
He laughed.

' He's right... I look horrible. '

Maybe I should....

My thoughts were interrupted by Priya. Thank you so much...

"Hey Y/n!" She said smiling.

"Hey Priya!!" I said, hugging her.

Miriam started walking over to us.

"Hey guys! You two look awesome." She smiled

I slightly smiled.

"Thanks Miria-" Before I could finish, Miriam walked past me and hugged Tyler and Priya.

I was... Hurt. Miriam has always been the nicer person. We've always been close.

Tyler looked over to me and stuck his tongue out.

Miriam turned to see what he was looking at.

She looked over to me.

"Oh. Hey Y/n."
She said quietly.

This is why I was insecure..
