Nora woke up in her bed, she was sleepy eyed, however, until she looked out the window, and saw......snow!!!
Nora's face beamed up and she ran straight to her sister, Anna and gently woke her up, and pointed out the window, and they both got excited because this could be their chance to play with Elsa.
They ran up to Elsa's door "Elsa?!", they both knocked on the door
(Nora
Anna
Nora & Anna)Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?
Come on let's go and play. We never see you anymore. Come out the door. It's like you've gone away.
We used to be best buddies, and now we're not. We wish you would tell us why.
Do you want to build a snowman?
It doesn't have to be a snowman.
"Go away, you two" Elsa said through the door, but not harshly, Anna and Nora hopeful smiles turned into heartbroken frowns "Okay, bye.", they said sadly.
"Anna, why does Elsa not want to play with us, anymore?" Nora pouted in a tiny voice, her eyes watering a little. "Hey, I'm sure Elsa will play us another day, maybe she's just busy.", Anna reassured making Nora smile a bit, maybe there is a next time.
"Now come on, let's go play!" Anna enthusiastically said, Nora smiled a bit and nodded and off they went to go put on their winter clothes and to go play in the snow.
Time Skip
Nora and Anna were outside going down a
Slope of snow on a sled, Nora was a bit nervous, but with Anna's encouragement, they went down together, unbeknownst to them, Elsa was watching longingly through her bedroom window, wishing she could play with them. Her hands lay flat against the windowsill, until her fingertips frosted it, Elsa panicked, as she adverted away.
"The gloves will help.", Agnarr said putting on blue satin gloves on his eldest "Now remember See. Conceal it. Don't feel it.", he affirmably stated. "Don't let it show!", they both recited together.
3 years later
It was another snow day, and a now nine year old Anna ran through the halls, with a six year old Nora in pursuit, trying to catch up "Anna, wait up!" she exclaimed, and with that they finally stopped by Elsa's door and knocked on the door, just maybe Elsa would come out to play, today.Do you wanna build a snowman?
Or ride our bike around the halls? (Anna rode a bike in the hall way, while Nora tried to advise her to not do this)
I think some company is overdue
I've started talking to the pictures on the walls!
Hang in there, Joan!
It gets a little lonely. All these empty rooms. Just watching the hours tick byAnna lay flat on her back watch the clock go back and forth, and making tic toc noises, while Nora was bored, and just watched.
"Anna, can we please just go play outside?!", Nora demanded bored and pulled Anna up from by the clock, and went outside to play. She knew herself that she had to face the facts that Elsa clearly didn't want to play anymore, even for a girl, her age, she was quite intelligent to think this.
"I'm scared, it's getting stronger!", Elsa panicked and paced around the floor as her room was now almost completely frosted with ice. "Getting upset only makes it worst, calm down.", her father sternly, but calmly said as his wife reached over to comfort Elsa, as soon as she was about to reach her, Elsa jerked her hand away "Don't touch me! Please, I don't want to hurt you!", Iduna and Agnarr stared at Elsa, their eyes filled concern and heartbreak for their eldest.
Unbeknownst to them, Nora was listening through the door, just as concerned about Elsa. She knew that her sister was hiding something and is trying to protect her family, but from what...what about herself could possibly hurt them?
Nora heard footsteps approaching, she ran fast to a corner, where her parents couldn't see her, and as much as she wanted a peek of what secret, Nora was hiding, but no the short haired brunette didn't want to pry herself into this, she knew that she had to be patient with Elsa, for she had hope that one day...maybe...just...maybe, Elsa would finally come around to her and Anna, and tell them what's going on and finally let them in. Nora sighed and started walking her way back to her and her sister's room.
6 years later
A twelve year old Nora was in her own room on her bed (Anna and Nora got their own rooms, 3 years ago, but of course they always visit each other and have sleepovers sometimes) reading her favorite book "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen, and she just couldn't put it down.Suddenly, Anna bursted into the room, "Come on Nora , we have to go say goodbye to mama and papa, they're leaving today for their voyage, remember.", Nora's eyes widen, she jumped out of her bed and followed her sister. They passed by Elsa's door, they (well Anna did mostly) thought about asking Elsa to come with them, but they knew she wouldn't with them, and would probably say goodbye on her own time.
Anna tilted her head telling Nora to come on, she nodded and kept following her, but didn't hesitate to look back, as she frowned a bit. We miss you, Elsa, we really do.
Anna and Nora ran up to their parents and hugged them "See you in two weeks.", Anna said, "Have fun on your trip.", Nora said, her and Anna's eyes brimming with tears.
Iduna kissed both of her girl's foreheads, "Take care of each other.", she said, and they nodded.
Later, Elsa said goodbye to her parents, and curtsied formally "Do you have to go?", Elsa asked in worry, "You'll be fine, Elsa.", her parents said with reassuring smiles.
Sadly that would the last time, the three would ever see their parents because on their voyage, a sea storm happened, and the tides were rather cross and swept the boat overboard and it sank.
They were dead, those days were the darkest days in all of Arendelle, the whole kingdom wept for they've lost their humble king and queen, many hearts were broken, but the most heart break were endured by their three daughters to them, they were their kind, ever loving parents and they lost them.
Nora broke down into many tears, and would always cry on Anna's shoulder, everyday, Anna, however had to stay strong for her, she was the older sister, she had to be. Elsa was more and more distant, she didn't even appear for the funeral.
Anna and Nora held one another's hand, and cried deep tears of mourn, how could this happen, and most importantly how could their eldest sister not be at their own parent's funeral?
Later Anna and Nora made their way in the hallway hand in hand to Elsa's door, and knocked once more.
Elsa?
Please we know you're in there. People are asking where you've been. They say have courage and I'm trying to, we're right out here for you. Just let us in. We only have each other. It's just you, Nora, and me. What are we gonna do?
Do you want to build a snowman?
Nora and Anna slid down the door cradled close to each other and just wept, Elsa was the same crying in her completely frozen room, and put her head in her knees, and cried.
Will these sisters ever come together or will they just keep falling apart?
