Frollo wakes up early and begins his daily routine. After freshening up he puts on his dark robes and straightens his sash when something catches the corner of his eye.
A gypsy man in emerald green strolls through the city and caught the eyes of many curious Parisians. The people gasp in both fear and awe at the sight before them: the gypsy man, cloaked in emerald with gold stitches, rides a huge white wolf, bigger than any normal wolf. Both wear their family's emblem upon their necks, which caught the eyes of many gypsies as they bow before them.
Frollo scoffs, "What an unholy sight. Strutting around like some messiah!"
Guards came in and block the gypsy's way. "Halt! Away with you, gypsy! And take your mutt, too!"
The gypsy man narrows his reddish-brown eyes at the guards while his wolf growls dangerously at them. The wolf snaps her jaws at them making them shriek cowardly. The gypsy man smirks watching the guards run away before examining the city around him.
He could tell his people are hiding in the shadows still and noticed the sneers from the white Parisians. Some are even starting to grow cautious with men grabbing anything sharp. The gypsy man turns to his wolf and scratches her head. "Let's go find Clopin, Misha."
His wolf nods and they both head for the center of town. Frollo frowns greatly at the sight of this peculiar gypsy before rolling his eyes at his men. "Such useless fools. Must I do everything myself?"
Frollo leaves his window and quickly gets ready. He then went to Thalia's room and knocks at her door. "Thalia? Are you up?"
Frollo didn't hear any responses so he let himself enter her room. He finds Thalia still sleeping and approaches her beside her bed. He was about to wake her when he stop and stare at her face. She was sleeping so peacefully and totally defenseless. Frollo squeezes his hands to restrain himself before placing his hand on her shoulder.
"Thalia," he says softly and lightly shakes her shoulder. "Wake up, dear child."
Thalia moans in her sleep and slowly opens her sleepy eyes. She yawns before realizing who was in front of her; she gasps and backs away from Frollo and covers herself. Frollo's face turns into bewilderment from Thalia's reaction and asks, "Thalia, whatever is the matter?"
"Nothing!" squeaked Thalia as she holds her blanket close.
Frollo raises a confused brow before sighing. "Well, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be leaving early, so please stay here while I'm gone. I'll be back as soon as possible."
"Okay, master!" Thalia squeaks again and almost hides half her face with the blanket.
Frollo had no clue why she was acting like this but doesn't pay it any mind. He leaves to go do his job while Thalia let out her breath in relief.
"He scared me half to death . . ." said Thalia and lays back on her bed. "I can't look him in the eye no more . . !"
Thalia stays in bed all morning and tries to forget what she saw last night.

Meanwhile, the gypsy man with the giant wolf wanders through the city searching for Clopin. Unfortunately, and much too soon, Frollo's men are already following them. The gypsy man scoffs at the annoying guards before he and his wolf make a turn around the corner. The guards rush after him but when they made the turn, which leads to a dead-end, the man and his wolf were both gone.
"T-they disappeared! Like magic!" stammered the first guard.
"Pesky witches!" exclaimed the second guard. "Come on! We need to report to Judge Frollo!"
"He is not gonna like this," said the first guard as they both leave the area.
The wolf, who had jumped and stands on one of the rooftops, snarls at the retreating men. Her own scratches her neck and leans into her ear. "Let's go, Misha. We can't find Clopin like this. We'll head for the Court of Miracles and meet him there."
The giant white wolf nods and with stealth avoid the guards and head for their home.
The two guards reported to Frollo, who looks down coldly and with annoyance at their incompetence. Frollo knew who this gypsy man was and quickly sends his men to find him.
"So he has finally returned," said Frollo to himself and rubs his chin. "Looks like he realized my decoy."
When he first met Thalia, he had her change out of her gypsy clothes. Frollo paid a girl to wear the gypsy dress and leave the city as far away as possible. He assumed this gypsy man would be gone longer but returned home much sooner than he predicted.
"Search everywhere for this gypsy! Find him!" ordered Frollo to his men.
Esmeralda, who had her goat on her back and wrapped in a cloak, avoids the guards and rushes back home to warn her prince.

Word spreads quickly and soon the gypsies gather at the Court of Miracles. Clopin rushes in and panting heavily before meeting with his king. He bows before him and said, "Oh, great majesty, Prince Marco! Please accept my deepest apologies for not meeting you sooner!"
The gypsy man, Prince Marco, sits with a family of gypsies with their children jumping around his wolf, Misha. Marco sat cross-legged and eats a pear before replying to Clopin. "Don't worry about it, old friend. I'm just sorry I wasted my time following a fake clue when I should've been here for you all."
"No, dear prince!" said Clopin and helps Marco up to his feet. "We all thought the princess was gone, too, but never fear, Prince Marco! She still lives!"
"Really?!" asked Prince Marco.
"Yes!!" said Clopin with a big smile. "We saw the princess yesterday! She is here! In this city!"
The whole Court cheers wildly at the news and Marco couldn't believe it. He smiles greatly and dances around happily with the children while Misha wags her tail. But Clopin stops him and turns gravely. "However, young prince, there is a tiiiiny problem."
"What is it? Is she safe?" asked Marco anxiously.
"She is! For now! But--!" At that moment Esmerald comes running in and pants heavily from the long road. She exclaims, "My prince . . . ! Frollo . . . ! Frollo has ordered his men to find you! He knows you're here! It's not safe for you up there!"
The gypsies gasps and mutter worriedly for their returning prince, who sighs heavily hearing this. "It's alright, Esmeralda. We're all safe here. I won't allow any harm to fall on us or myself. Now, would somebody please tell me what's going on with my sister?"
"W-Well . . ." started Clopin as he laughs nervously and pulls his collar. "T-the princess is, um, captured . . . by the minister . . ."
Prince Marco blinks bewildered at Clopin while his face slowly turns into a furious shock. "JUDGE CLAUDE FROLLO . . . HAS THALIA?!"
Unlike the other gypsies, Prince Marco is genuinely born with magic. Fire magic, to be specific. Also, his fire magic is unique since Prince Marco could also heal people with it, but when his temper flares so do his magic. The gypsies gasped while their prince was engulfed by his blue flames.
His eyes glow with rage and declare. "IF HE HAS TOUCHED MY SISTER FORCEFULLY, I'LL SHOW HIM WHAT REAL HELLFIRE LOOKS LIKE!!!"
So swears the gypsy prince . . .
