Malia’s POV

It has been a full twenty-four hours since Stile’s was taken.  We all ran after Stiles hoping to find Peter and that Stiles wouldn’t do anything stupid.  By the time we reached the basement there was no sight of anyone anywhere.  It didn’t make any sense.  It was as if they just disappeared into thin air.  I know I am supposed to stay strong but I am breaking inside.  I don’t know how much longer I can go before I fall apart.  My body is telling me to sleep but my mind refuses to let me.  I laid down about an hour ago after Melissa demanded that I get some sleep.  I am pretty sure I have gotten a total of five minutes of actual sleep.  My daughter and love of my life are missing and I feel hopeless.  I am supposed to always protect my family and I can’t even do that.  I don’t want to think about what type of torture Stiles is going through.  I don’t even know if they are both still alive.  The only thing keeping me going is the sliver of hope that they will be okay.  Normally we try not to involve the police or the town into are supernatural world.  This time is different.  The lives of the Sherrif’s son and his daughter are on the line and we could use all the help we can get.  The whole town has been on the look out.  I can’t turn on the TV because all the channels are talking about the abduction.  An amber alert was sent out and by now most of California is aware of the situation on hand.  I finally decided that if I couldn't get any sleep I might as well be doing something useful.  I dragged myself out of bed, lingering at the smell of Stiles and walked downstairs.  The first thing I notice is Deaton.

“Oh Malia, good your’e here, I might have and idea as to where Stiles may be.  I don’t think he ever actually left.  I have heard of this plant, but never knew if the myth was true.  Have you heard of the chichorium intybus or chicory?” Deaton asked.

I nodded my head no waiting for him to continue.

“Well Chicory is believed to possess the quality of invisibility and it is also said to open doors if held against the locks.  We have searched everywhere and it just doesn’t add up.  How could Peter have gotten both Stiles and Everly and escaped so quickly.  I am starting to think that they never did and instead are still there.  We looked at the old blueprint of the building and it showed that there was a room underneath the basement.  We have searched everywhere and we haven’t found any type of entrance.  What if that entrance is there but just hidden or invisible.”

“Well how do we reverse it so that we can see the opening?” I asked

“That I don’t know.  I thought we could use common sense and have one of you feel along the walls and try to find where it sounds hollow.  Hopefully one of you can punch through the wall or something.” He said thinking through different options.

“Well it’s worth a try, what else do we have to lose.” Scott said shrugging his shoulders.  We called everyone up and decided to make a plan and hopefully our move.

We parked in front of the old auto shop and I was suddenly hit with nausea.  The last time I was here my life flipped upside down.  I stared at the building holding onto the car doorknob.  Allison finally shook me out of my daze.  “Are you okay?” She asked her voice wary and full of concern.  I slightly nodded my head and got out of the car.  We all went straight to the basement and started to scan the walls listening carefully trying to feel something.  After about ten minutes and everyone about to give up Derek yelled “I think I found it!”  We all crossed the room to where he was standing.  His ear was to the wall and he was intently listening.

“It feels like there is some sort of latch.  I am just going to try to punch through.  Is everyone ready?” He said looking at us, preparing us for what was to come.  He punched the wall using all his force as it shattered around his fist.  The sound of a cry came through and we instantly knew we found them.  I would recognize Everly’s cry anywhere.  Derek began pulling at the wall trying to make the entrance big enough to fit through.  I had lost all patience and helped him before I could fit through.  I ignored the dust blocking my sight and crawled through.  I saw Everly laying on the floor screaming and crying.  I ran over to her and picked her up holding her to me.  She didn’t look hurt only neglected.  She was wet with urine and was already grasping at my chest as if begging for food.  Everyone had already entered and I could here people shuffling around.  I turned around and immediately saw Stiles surrounded by Scott and Derek.
